2 Chronicles 25:5-10
5Moreover AmaziahH558 gatheredH6908 JudahH3063 togetherH6908, and ordered them according to their fathers’H1 housesH1004, under captains of thousandsH505 and captains of hundredsH3967, even all JudahH3063 and BenjaminH1144: and he numbered them from twentyH6242 yearsH8141 old and upwardH4605, and foundH4672 them threeH7969 hundredH3967 thousandH505 chosen menH970, able to goH3318 forthH3318 to warH6635, that could handle spearH7420 and shieldH6793. 6He hiredH7936 also a hundredH3967 thousandH505 mightyH1368 menH1368 of valor out of IsraelH3478 for a hundredH3967 talentsH3603 of silverH3701. 7But there cameH935 a manH376 of GodH430 to him, sayingH559, O kingH4428, let not the armyH6635 of IsraelH3478 goH935 with thee; for Jehovah is not with IsraelH3478, to wit, with all the children of EphraimH669. 8But if thou wilt goH935, do valiantly, be strongH2388 for the battleH4421: GodH430 will cast thee down before the enemyH341; for GodH430 hath powerH3581 to helpH5826, and to cast down. 9And AmaziahH558 saidH559 to the manH376 of GodH430, But what shall we do for the hundredH3967 talentsH3603 which I have givenH5414 to the army of IsraelH3478? And the manH376 of GodH430 answered, Jehovah is able to giveH5414 thee muchH7235 more than this. 10Then AmaziahH558 separatedH914 them, to wit, the army that was comeH935 to him out of EphraimH669, to goH935 home again: wherefore their angerH639 was greatly kindled against JudahH3063, and they returnedH7725 home in fierce angerH639.
