2 Chronicles 15:2-7
2and he wentH3318 out to meet AsaH609, and saidH559 unto him, HearH8085 ye me, AsaH609, and all JudahH3063 and BenjaminH1144: Jehovah is with you, while ye are with him; and if ye seekH1875 him, he will beH1961 foundH4672 of you; but if ye forsakeH5800 him, he will forsakeH5800 you. 3Now for a long season IsraelH3478 was without the true GodH430, and without a teaching priestH3548, and without lawH8451: 4but when in their distressH6862 they turnedH7725 unto Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, and soughtH1245 him, he was foundH4672 of them. 5And in those times there was no peaceH7965 to him that wentH3318 out, nor to him that cameH935 in; but greatH7227 vexations were upon all the inhabitantsH3427 of the landsH776. 6And they were broken in pieces, nationH1471 against nationH1471, and cityH5892 against cityH5892; for GodH430 did vex them with all adversity. 7But be ye strongH2388, and let not your handsH3027 be slackH7503; for your workH6468 shall be rewardedH7939.
