1 Samuel 7:8-12
8And the children of IsraelH3478 saidH559 to SamuelH8050, Cease not to cryH2199 unto Jehovah our GodH430 for us, that he will saveH3467 us out of the handH3027 of the PhilistinesH6430. 9And SamuelH8050 tookH3947 a sucking lambH2924, and offeredH5927 it for a wholeH3632 burnt-offering unto Jehovah: and SamuelH8050 criedH2199 unto Jehovah for IsraelH3478; and Jehovah answeredH6030 him. 10And as SamuelH8050 wasH1961 offeringH5927 up the burnt-offering, the PhilistinesH6430 drewH5066 near to battleH4421 against IsraelH3478; but Jehovah thunderedH7481 with a greatH1419 thunderH6963 on that dayH3117 upon the PhilistinesH6430, and discomfited them; and they wereH1961 smitten down before IsraelH3478. 11And the menH376 of IsraelH3478 wentH3318 out of MizpahH4709, and pursuedH7291 the PhilistinesH6430, and smote them, until they cameH3318 under Beth-car.
12Then SamuelH8050 tookH3947 a stoneH68, and setH7760 it between MizpahH4709 and Shen, and calledH7121 the nameH8034 of it Eben-ezer, sayingH559, Hitherto hath Jehovah helpedH5826 us.
