1 Samuel 4:14-18
14And when EliH5941 heardH8085 the noise of the crying, he saidH559, What meaneth the noise of this tumultH1995? And the manH376 hasted, and cameH935 and toldH5046 EliH5941. 15Now EliH5941 was ninetyH8673 and eightH8083 yearsH8141 old; and his eyesH5869 were setH6965, so that he could not seeH7200. 16And the manH376 saidH559 unto EliH5941, I am he that cameH935 out of the army, and I fledH5127 to-day out of the army. And he saidH559, HowH4100 wentH935 the matterH1697, my sonH1121? 17And he that brought the tidings answered and saidH559, IsraelH3478 is fledH5127 before the PhilistinesH6430, and there hath beenH1961 alsoH1571 a greatH1419 slaughterH4046 among the peopleH5971, and thy twoH8147 sonsH1121 alsoH1571, HophniH2652 and PhinehasH6372, are deadH4191, and the arkH727 of GodH430 is takenH3947. 18And it came to pass, when he made mention of the arkH727 of GodH430, that Eli fellH5307 from off his seatH3678 backwardH322 by the side of the gateH8179; and his neck brake, and he diedH4191: for he wasH1961 an oldH2204 manH376, and heavyH3515. And he had judgedH8199 IsraelH3478 fortyH705 yearsH8141.
