1 Samuel 25:10-17
10And NabalH5037 answered David’s servantsH5650, and saidH559, Who is DavidH1732? and who is the sonH1121 of JesseH3448? there are manyH7235 servantsH5650 now-a-days that breakH6555 away every manH376 from his masterH113. 11Shall I then takeH3947 my breadH3899, and my waterH4325, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearersH1494, and giveH5414 it unto menH376 of whom I knowH3045 not whence they are? 12So David’s youngH5288 menH5288 turnedH2015 on their wayH1870, and wentH935 backH7725, and cameH935 and toldH5046 him according to all these wordsH1697. 13And DavidH1732 saidH559 unto his menH376, GirdH2296 ye on every manH376 his swordH2719. And they girdedH2296 on every manH376 his swordH2719; and DavidH1732 alsoH1571 girdedH2296 on his swordH2719: and there wentH5927 up after DavidH1732 about fourH702 hundredH3967 menH376; and two hundredH3967 abode by the baggage.
14But oneH259 of the youngH5288 menH5288 toldH5046 AbigailH26, Nabal’s wifeH802, sayingH559, Behold, DavidH1732 sentH7971 messengersH4397 out of the wildernessH4057 to salute our masterH113; and he railed at them. 15But the menH376 wereH1961 veryH3966 goodH2896 unto us, and we wereH1961 not hurt, neither missedH6485 we anything, as long as we wentH1980 with them, when we wereH1961 in the fieldsH7704: 16they wereH1961 a wallH2346 unto us both by nightH3915 and by dayH3117, all the while we wereH1961 with them keeping the sheepH6629. 17NowH6258 thereforeH6258 knowH3045 and considerH7200 what thou wilt do; for evilH7451 is determined against our masterH113, and against all his houseH1004: for he is such a worthlessH1100 fellow, that one cannot speakH1696 to him.
