1 Samuel 21:6-9
6So the priestH3548 gave him holyH6944 bread; for there wasH1961 no bread there but the showbread, that wasH1961 taken from before Jehovah, to put hot bread in the dayH3117 when it wasH1961 taken away.
7Now a certain man of the servants of Saul wasH1961 there that dayH3117, detained before Jehovah; and his name wasH1961 Doeg the Edomite, the chiefest of the herdsmen that belongedH1961 to Saul. 8And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under thy hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king’s business required haste. 9And the priest saidH559, The swordH2719 of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the vale of Elah, behold, it is hereH6311 wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt takeH3947 that, takeH3947 it; for there is no other save that hereH6311. And DavidH1732 saidH559, There is none like that; give it me.
