1 Samuel 15:1-6
1And SamuelH8050 saidH559 unto SaulH7586, Jehovah sentH7971 me to anointH4886 thee to be kingH4428 over his peopleH5971, over IsraelH3478: nowH6258 thereforeH6258 hearken thou unto the voiceH6963 of the wordsH1697 of Jehovah. 2ThusH3541 saith Jehovah of hostsH6635, I have marked that which AmalekH6002 did to IsraelH3478, how he setH7760 himself against him in the wayH1870, whenH834 he cameH5927 up out of EgyptH4714. 3NowH6258 go and smite AmalekH6002, and utterly destroyH2763 all that they have, and spareH2550 them not; but slay both manH376 and womanH802, infant and suckling, oxH7794 and sheepH7716, camelH1581 and ass.
4And SaulH7586 summoned the peopleH5971, and numbered them in Telaim, twoH3967 hundredH3967 thousandH505 footmen, and tenH6235 thousandH505 menH376 of JudahH3063. 5And SaulH7586 cameH935 to the cityH5892 of AmalekH6002, and laid wait in the valley. 6And SaulH7586 saidH559 unto the Kenites, GoH5927, departH5493, get you downH3381 from among the Amalekites, lestH6435 I destroy you with them; for ye showed kindness to all the children of IsraelH3478, when they cameH5927 up out of EgyptH4714. So the Kenites departedH5493 from among the Amalekites.
