16Moreover thewordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came to me,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

17Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120, when thehouseבֵּ֤יתbeitH1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478dweltיֹשְׁבִ֣יםyo.she.VimH3427in their ownlandאַדְמָתָ֔ם'ad.ma.TamH127, theydefiledוַיְטַמְּא֣וּvay.ta.me.'UH2930it by their ownwayבְּדַרְכָּ֖םbe.dar.KamH1870and by theirdoingsוּבַעֲלִֽילוֹתָ֑םu.va.'a.li.lo.TamH5949: theirwayדַרְכָּ֖םdar.KamH1870wasbeforeלְפָנָֽי׃le.fa.NaiH6440me as theuncleannessכְּטֻמְאַת֙ke.tum.'AtH2932of a defiledwomanהַנִּדָּ֔הha.ni.DahH5079.

18Therefore Ipouredוָאֶשְׁפֹּ֤ךְva.'esh.PokhH8210myfuryחֲמָתִי֙cha.ma.TiH2534upon them for thebloodהַדָּ֖םha.DamH1818that they hadshedשָׁפְכ֣וּsha.fe.KhuH8210upon thelandהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776, and for theiridolsוּבְגִלּוּלֵיהֶ֖םu.ve.gi.lu.lei.HemH1544with which they hadpollutedטִמְּאֽוּהָ׃ti.me.'U.haH2930it:

19And Iscatteredוָאָפִ֤יץva.'a.FitzH6327them among theheathenבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471, and they weredispersedוַיִּזָּר֖וּvai.yi.za.RuH2219through thecountriesבָּאֲרָצ֑וֹתba.'a.ra.TzotH776: according to theirwayכְּדַרְכָּ֥םke.dar.KamH1870and according to theirdoingsוְכַעֲלִילוֹתָ֖םve.kha.'a.li.lo.TamH5949Ijudgedשְׁפַטְתִּֽים׃she.fa.TimH8199them.

20And when theyenteredוַיָּב֗וֹאvai.ya.Vo'H935among theheathenהַגּוֹיִם֙ha.go.YimH1471, where theywentבָּ֣אוּBa.'uH935, theyprofanedוַֽיְחַלְּל֖וּvay.cha.le.LuH2490myholyקָדְשִׁ֑יkod.shiH6944nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034, when theysaidבֶּאֱמֹ֤רbe.'e.MorH559to them, These are thepeopleעַם־'am-H5971of theLORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068, and are goneforthיָצָֽאוּ׃ya.Tza.'uH3318out of hislandוּמֵאַרְצ֖וֹu.me.'ar.TzoH776.

21But I hadpityוָאֶחְמֹ֖לva.'ech.MolH2550for myholyקָדְשִׁ֑יkod.shiH6944nameשֵׁ֣םshemH8034, which thehouseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478hadprofanedחִלְּל֙וּהוּ֙chi.le.Lu.huH2490among theheathenבַּגּוֹיִ֖םba.go.YimH1471, where theywentבָּ֥אוּBa.'uH935.
