Revised Version 1895
Psalms 59:8-17
10The GodH430 of my mercy shall prevent meH413: GodH430 shall let meH413 see my desire uponH413 mine enemies.
11Slay them not, lest my peopleH7200 forget: scatter them by thy power, and bringH6923 them down, O LordH2617 our shield.
12For the sin of their mouth, and the words of their lips, letH408 them evenH408 be takenH3381 in their pride, and for cursing and lying which they speak.
13Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they be no more: and let them know that God ruleth in JacobH5608, unto the ends of the earth. Selah
14And at evening let them return, let them makeH3045 a noise like a dog, and go round aboutH3045 the city.
15They shall wander up and downH5437 for meat and tarry allH5437 nightH6153 if they be not satisfied.
16But I will sing of thy strength; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my high tower, and a refuge in the day of my distress.
