Revised Version 1895

Psalms 44:17-22

17All this is come upon usH6440; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.
18Our heart is notH3808 turned backH935, neitherH3808 have our steps declined from thy wayH2063;
19That thou hast sore broken usH4480 in the place of jackals, and covered usH4480 with the shadow of death.
20IfH3588 weH3588 have forgotten the name of our God, or spread forth our hands to a strange god;
21Shall notH518 GodH430 search this outH6566? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
22YeaH3588, for thy sake are weH3588 killed allH3045 the day long; weH3588 are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
