Revised Version 1895
Psalms 37:12-24
The wickedH7563 plotteth againstH5921 the justH6662, and gnasheth uponH5921 him with his teethH8127.
The wickedH7563 have drawnH6605 outH1869 the swordH2719, and have bentH1869 their bowH7198; to castH5307 downH5307 the poorH6041 and needyH34, to slayH2873 such as be uprightH3477 in the wayH1870:
Their swordH2719 shall enterH935 intoH935 their own heartH3820, and their bowsH7198 shall be brokenH7665.
BetterH2896 is a littleH4592 that the righteousH6662 hath thanH2896 the abundanceH1995 of manyH7227 wickedH7563.
For the armsH2220 of the wickedH7563 shall be brokenH7665: but the LORDH3068 upholdeth the righteousH6662.
The LORDH3068 knoweth the daysH3117 of the perfectH8549: and their inheritanceH5159 shall be for everH5769.
They shall notH3808 be ashamedH954 in the time of evilH7451: and in the daysH3117 of famineH7459 they shall be satisfiedH7646.
But the wickedH7563 shall perishH6, and the enemiesH341 of the LORDH3068 shall be as the excellency of the pasturesH3733: they shall consumeH3615; in smokeH6227 shall they consumeH3615 awayH3615.
The wickedH7563 borroweth, and payeth notH3808 again: but the righteousH6662 dealeth graciouslyH2603, and giveth.
