Psalms 69:1-33

11SaveH3467 me, GodH430, For the 2watersH4325 have 3threatenedH935H5704 my lifeH5315.2I have sunkH2883 in deepH4688 4mudH3121, and thereH369 isH369 noH369 footholdH4613; I have comeH935 into deepH4615 watersH4325, and a 56floodH7642 overflowsH7857 me.3I am 7wearyH3021 with my cryingH7121; my throatH1627 isH2787 parchedH2787; My 8eyesH5869 failH3615 while I waitH3176 for my GodH430.4Those 9who hateH8130 me withoutH2600 a causeH2600 areH7231 moreH7231 thanH4480 the hairsH8185 of my headH7218; Those who would 10destroyH6789 me 11areH6105 powerfulH6105, those who opposeH340 me with liesH8267; 12WhatH834 I did not stealH1497, I thenH227 have to restoreH7725.

5GodH430, You knowH3045 13my foolishnessH200, And 14my guiltH819 is not hiddenH3582 from You.6May those who waitH6960 for You not 15beH954 ashamedH954 because of me, LordH136 16GodH3068 of armiesH6635; May those who seekH1245 You not be dishonoredH3637 because of me, GodH430 of IsraelH3478,7BecauseH3588 17forH5921 Your sakeH5921 I have enduredH5375 disgraceH2781; 18DishonorH3639 has coveredH3680 my faceH6440.8I have becomeH1961 19estrangedH2114 20from my brothersH251, And a strangerH5237 to my mother’sH517 sonsH1121.9For 21zealH7068 for Your houseH1004 has consumedH398 me, And 22the tauntsH2781 of those who tauntH2778 You have fallenH5307 on me.10When I weptH1058 23in my soulH5315 with fastingH6685, It becameH1961 my 24disgraceH2781.11When I madeH5414 25sackclothH8242 my clothingH3830, I becameH1961 26a proverbH4912 to them.12Those who 27sitH3427 in the gateH8179 talkH7878 about me, And 28songsH5058 ofH5058 mockeryH5058 by those habituallyH7941H8354 drunkH7941H8354 are about me.

13But as for me, my prayerH8605 is to You, LordH3068, 29at an acceptableH7522 timeH6256; GodH430, in the 30greatnessH7230 of Your mercyH2617, AnswerH6030 me with 31Your savingH3468 truthH571.14RescueH5337 me from the 32mudH2916 and do not let me sinkH2883; May I be 33rescuedH5337 from those who hateH8130 me, and from the 34depthsH4615 of waterH4325.15May the 3536floodH7642 of waterH4325 not overflowH7857 me NorH408 the deepH4688 swallowH1104 me upH1104, NorH408 the 37pitH875 closeH332 its mouthH6310 on me.

16AnswerH6030 me, LordH3068, for 38Your mercyH2617 is goodH2896; 39According to the greatnessH7230 of Your compassionH7356, 40turnH6437 to me,17And 41do not hideH5641 Your faceH6440 from Your servantH5650, For I amH6887 42inH6887 distressH6887; answerH6030 me quicklyH4118.18ComeH7126 nearH7126 to my soulH5315 and 43redeemH1350 it; 44RansomH6299 me becauseH4616 of my enemiesH340!19You knowH3045 my 45disgraceH2781, my shameH1322, and my dishonorH3639; AllH3605 my enemiesH6887 are 46knownH5048 to You.

20DisgraceH2781 has 47brokenH7665 my heartH3820, and I am so sickH5136. And 48I waitedH6960 for sympathyH5110, but thereH369 wasH369 noneH369; And for 49comfortersH5162, but I foundH4672 noneH3808.21They also gaveH5414 me 5051a bitterH7219 herbH7219 in my foodH1267, And for my thirstH6772 they 52gaveH8248 me vinegarH2558 toH8248 drinkH8248.

22May 53their tableH7979 beforeH6440 them becomeH1961 a snareH4170; And 5455when they are at peaceH7965, may it become a trapH4170.23May their 56eyesH5869 growH2821 dimH2821 soH4480 thatH4480 they cannotH4480 seeH7200, And make their 57hipsH4975 shakeH4571 continuallyH8548.2458PourH8210 outH8210 Your indignationH2195 on them, And may Your burningH2740 angerH639 overtakeH5381 them.25May their 5960campH2918 beH8074 desolatedH8074; May there be noneH408 livingH3427 in their tentsH168.26For they have 61persecutedH7291 him whomH834 62You YourselfH859 struckH5221, And they tellH5608 of the painH4341 of those whom 63You have 64woundedH2491.27AddH5414 65guiltH5771 to their guiltH5771, And 66may they not comeH935 into 67Your righteousnessH6666.28May they be 68wipedH4229 outH4229 of the 69bookH5612 of lifeH2416, And may they not be 7071recordedH3789 with the righteousH6662.

29But I am 72afflictedH6041 and inH3510 painH3510; 73May Your salvationH3444, GodH430, 74setH7682 me safely onH7682 highH7682.30I will 75praiseH1984 the nameH8034 of GodH430 with songH7892, And 76exaltH1431 Him with 77thanksgivingH8426.31And it will 78pleaseH3190 the LordH3068 betterH3190 thanH4480 an oxH7794 Or bullH6499 with hornsH7161 and hoofsH6536.32The 79humbleH6035 80have seenH7200 it and areH8055 gladH8055; You who seekH1875 GodH430, 81let your heartH3824 82reviveH2421.33For 83the LordH3068 hearsH8085 the needyH34, And 84does not despiseH959 those of His who are prisonersH615.
