Praise for Rescue from Enemies.
A Song of Ascents, of David.
1“1Had it not beenH1961 the LordH3068 whoH7945 was on our side,” 2Let IsraelH3478 sayH559,2“Had it not beenH1961 the LordH3068 whoH7945 was on our side When peopleH120 roseH6965 upH5927 againstH5921 us,3ThenH233 they would have 3swallowedH1104 us aliveH2416, When their 4angerH639 was kindledH2734 against us;4ThenH233 the 5watersH4325 would have floodedH7857 overH7857 us, The streamH5158 would have 6sweptH5674 overH5921 our soulsH5315;5ThenH233 the 7ragingH2121 watersH4325 would have 8sweptH5674 overH5921 our soulsH5315.”
6BlessedH1288 be the LordH3068, WhoH7945 has not givenH5414 us 9to be 10tornH2964 by their teethH8127.7Our soulsH5315 have 11escapedH4422 12like a birdH6833 from the trapper’sH3369 13snareH6341; The snareH6341 is brokenH7665 and we have escapedH4422.8Our 14helpH5828 is in the nameH8034 of the LordH3068, Who 15madeH6213 heavenH8064 and earthH776.
