Psalms 69:1-33

11SaveH3467 me, O GodH430, For the 2watersH4325 have 3threatenedH935H5704 my lifeH5315.2I have sunkH2883 in deepH4688 4mireH3121, and thereH369 is noH369 footholdH4613; I have comeH935 into deepH4615 watersH4325, and a 56floodH7642 overflowsH7857 me.3I am 7wearyH3021 with my cryingH7121; my throatH1627 is parchedH2787; My 8eyesH5869 failH3615 while I waitH3176 for my GodH430.4Those 9who hateH8130 me withoutH2600 a causeH2600 are moreH7231 thanH4480 the hairsH8185 of my headH7218; Those who would 10destroyH6789 me 11are powerfulH6105, being wrongfullyH8267 my enemiesH340; 12WhatH834 I did not stealH1497, I thenH227 have to restoreH7725.

5O GodH430, it is You who knowsH3045 13my follyH200, And 14my wrongsH819 are not hiddenH3582 from You.6May those who waitH6960 for You not 15be ashamedH954 through me, O LordH136 16GodH3068 of hostsH6635; May those who seekH1245 You not be dishonoredH3637 through me, O GodH430 of IsraelH3478,7BecauseH3588 17for Your sakeH5921 I have borneH5375 reproachH2781; 18DishonorH3639 has coveredH3680 my faceH6440.8I haveH1961 becomeH1961 19estrangedH2114 20from my brothersH251 And an alienH5237 to my mother’sH517 sonsH1121.9For 21zealH7068 for Your houseH1004 has consumedH398 me, And 22the reproachesH2781 of those who reproachH2778 You have fallenH5307 on me.10When I weptH1058 23in my soulH5315 with fastingH6685, It becameH1961 my reproachH2781.11When I madeH5414 24sackclothH8242 my clothingH3830, I becameH1961 25a bywordH4912 to them.12Those who 26sitH3427 in the gateH8179 talkH7878 about me, And I am the 2728songH5058 of the drunkardsH7941H8354.

13But as for me, my prayerH8605 is to You, O LordH3068, 29at an acceptableH7522 timeH6256; O GodH430, in the 30greatnessH7230 of Your lovingkindnessH2617, AnswerH6030 me with 31Your savingH3468 truthH571.14DeliverH5337 me from the 32mireH2916 and do not let me sinkH2883; May I be 33deliveredH5337 from 34my foesH8130 and from the 3536deepH4615 watersH4325.15May the 3738floodH7642 of waterH4325 not overflowH7857 me NorH408 the deepH4688 swallowH1104 me up, NorH408 the 39pitH875 shutH332 its mouthH6310 on me.

16AnswerH6030 me, O LordH3068, for 40Your lovingkindnessH2617 is goodH2896; 41According to the greatnessH7230 of Your compassionH7356, 42turnH6437 to me,17And 43do not hideH5641 Your faceH6440 from Your servantH5650, For I am 44in distressH6887; answerH6030 me quicklyH4118.18Oh drawH7126 nearH7126 to my soulH5315 and 45redeemH1350 it; 46RansomH6299 me becauseH4616 of my enemiesH340!19You knowH3045 my 47reproachH2781 and my shameH1322 and my dishonorH3639; AllH3605 my adversariesH6887 are 48beforeH5048 You.

20ReproachH2781 has 49brokenH7665 my heartH3820 and I am so sickH5136. And 50I lookedH6960 for sympathyH5110, but thereH369 was noneH369, And for 51comfortersH5162, but I foundH4672 noneH3808.21They also gaveH5414 me 5253gallH7219 54for my foodH1267 And for my thirstH6772 they 55gaveH8248 me vinegarH2558 to drinkH8248.

22May 56their tableH7979 beforeH6440 them becomeH1961 a snareH4170; And 5758when they are in peaceH7965, may it become a trapH4170.23May their 59eyesH5869 growH2821 dimH2821 soH4480 that they cannotH4480 seeH7200, And make their 60loinsH4975 shakeH4571 continuallyH8548.2461PourH8210 out Your indignationH2195 on them, And may Your burningH2740 angerH639 overtakeH5381 them.25May their 6263campH2918 be desolateH8074; May noneH408 dwellH3427 in their tentsH168.26For they have 64persecutedH7291 him whomH834 65You YourselfH859 have smittenH5221, And they tellH5608 of the painH4341 of those whom 66You have 67woundedH2491.27AddH5414 68iniquityH5771 to their iniquityH5771, And 69may they not comeH935 into 70Your righteousnessH6666.28May they be 71blottedH4229 out of the 72bookH5612 of lifeH2416 And may they not be 7374recordedH3789 with the righteousH6662.

29But I am 75afflictedH6041 and in painH3510; 76May Your salvationH3444, O GodH430, 77setH7682 me securely on highH7682.30I will 78praiseH1984 the nameH8034 of GodH430 with songH7892 And 79magnifyH1431 Him with 80thanksgivingH8426.31And it will 81pleaseH3190 the LordH3068 betterH3190 thanH4480 an oxH7794 Or a youngH6499 bullH6499 with hornsH7161 and hoofsH6536.32The 82humbleH6035 83have seenH7200 it and are gladH8055; You who seekH1875 GodH430, 84let your heartH3824 85reviveH2421.33For 86the LordH3068 hearsH8085 the needyH34 And 87does not despiseH959 His who are prisonersH615.
