1 John 2:12-27

12I am writingG1125 to you, 1littleG5040 childrenG5040, becauseG3754 2your sinsG266 have been forgivenG863 you onG1223 accountG1223 ofG1223 His nameG3686. 13I am writingG1125 to you, fathersG3962, becauseG3754 you knowG1097 Him 3who has been from the beginningG746. I am writingG1125 to you, youngG3495 menG3495, becauseG3754 4you have overcomeG3528 5the evilG4190 oneG4190. I have writtenG1125 to you, childrenG3813, becauseG3754 6you knowG1097 the FatherG3962. 14I have writtenG1125 to you, fathersG3962, becauseG3754 you knowG1097 Him 7who has been from the beginningG746. I have writtenG1125 to you, youngG3495 menG3495, becauseG3754 you are 8strongG2478, and the 9wordG3056 of GodG2316 remainsG3306 in you, and 10you have overcomeG3528 the evilG4190 oneG4190.

15Do not loveG25 11the worldG2889 norG3366 the things in the worldG2889. 12IfG1437 anyoneG5100 lovesG25 the worldG2889, the loveG26 of the FatherG3962 is not in him. 16For allG3956 that is in the worldG2889, 13the lustG1939 of the fleshG4561 and 14the lustG1939 of the eyesG3788 and 15the boastfulG212 prideG212 of lifeG979, is not from the FatherG3962, but is from the worldG2889. 1716The worldG2889 is passingG3855 awayG3855 and also its lustsG1939; but the one who 17doesG4160 the willG2307 of GodG2316 continuesG3306 to live foreverG165.

18ChildrenG3813, 18it is the lastG2078 hourG5610; and justG2531 asG2531 you heardG191 that 19antichristG500 is comingG2064, 20evenG2532 nowG3568 manyG4183 antichristsG500 have appearedG1096; fromG3606 thisG3606 we knowG1097 that it is the lastG2078 hourG5610. 1921They wentG1831 outG1831 from us, but they were not really of us; for ifG1487 they had beenG1510 of us, they would have remainedG3306 with us; but they went out, 22soG2443 thatG2443 23it would be evidentG5319 that they allG3956 are not of us. 2024But you haveG2192 an 25anointingG5545 from 26the HolyG40 OneG40, and 27you allG3956 knowG3609. 21I have not writtenG1125 to you becauseG3754 you do not knowG3609 the truthG225, but 28becauseG3754 you do knowG3609 it, and 29becauseG3754 noG3956G3756 lieG5579 is 30of the truthG225. 22WhoG5101 is the liarG5583 exceptG1508 31the one who deniesG720 that JesusG2424 is the 32ChristG5547? ThisG3778 is 33the antichristG500, the one who deniesG720 the FatherG3962 and the SonG5207. 2334WhoeverG3956 deniesG720 the SonG5207 does not haveG2192 the FatherG3962; the one who confessesG3670 the SonG5207 hasG2192 the FatherG3962 alsoG2532. 24As for you, see that whatG3739 you heardG191 35from the beginningG746 remainsG3306 in you. IfG1437 whatG3739 you heard from the beginningG746 remainsG3306 in you, you alsoG2532 36will remainG3306 in the SonG5207 and in the FatherG3962. 2537ThisG3778 is the promiseG1860 whichG3739 He HimselfG846 38madeG1861 to us: eternalG166 lifeG2222.

26TheseG3778 thingsG3778 I have writtenG1125 to you concerningG4012 thoseG3588 who are trying to 39deceiveG4105 you. 27And as for you, the 40anointingG5545 whichG3739 you receivedG2983 from Him remainsG3306 in you, and you haveG2192 noG3756 needG5532 for anyoneG5100 to teachG1321 you; but as His anointingG5545 41teachesG1321 you aboutG4012 allG3956 thingsG3956, and is 42trueG227 and is not a lieG5579, and justG2531 asG2531 it has taughtG1321 you, 43you remainG3306 in Him.
