10Forthe death that He diedἀπέθανεν,apethanenG599,He diedἀπέθανενapethanenG599to sinἁμαρτίᾳhamartiaG266onceἐφάπαξ·ephapaxG2178forG2178allG2178time; butthe life that He livesζῇ,zēaG2198,He livesζῇzēaG2198toGodθεῷ.theōG2316.

11SoοὕτωςhoutōsG3779you tooκαὶkaiG2532,considerλογίζεσθεlogizestheG3049yourselvesἑαυτοὺςhe'autousG1438to bedeadνεκροὺςnekrousG3498to sinἁμαρτίᾳhamartiaG266,but aliveζῶνταςzōntasG2198to GodθεῷtheōG2316in ChristΧριστῷChristōG5547JesusἸησοῦIēsouG2424.

12ThereforeοὖνounG3767sinἁμαρτίαhamartiaG266is not toreignβασιλευέτωbasileuetōG936in your mortalθνητῷthnētōG2349bodyσώματιsōmatiG4983soG1519thatG1519you obeyὑπακούεινhupakoueinG5219its lustsἐπιθυμίαιςepithumiaisG1939,

13and do not go onpresentingπαριστάνετεparistaneteG3936the partsμέληmelēG3196of your body to sinἁμαρτίᾳ,hamartiaG266asinstrumentsὅπλαhoplaG3696of unrighteousnessἀδικίαςadikiasG93; butpresentπαραστήσατεparastēsateG3936yourselvesἑαυτοὺςhe'autousG1438to GodθεῷtheōG2316as those who areG2198aliveG2198from the deadνεκρῶνnekrōnG3498, andyour body’s partsμέληmelēG3196asinstrumentsὅπλαhoplaG3696of righteousnessδικαιοσύνηςdikaiosunēsG1343for Godθεῷ.theōG2316.
