52you shall driveH3423outH3423allכָּל־kol-H3605the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֤יyo.she.VeiH3427of the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776from you, anddestroyוְאִ֨בַּדְתֶּ֔םve.'I.bad.TemH6allכָּל־kol-H3605their idolatroussculpturesמַשְׂכִּיֹּתָ֑םmas.ki.yo.TamH4906,destroyתְּאַבֵּ֔דוּte.'a.Be.duH6allכָּל־kol-H3605their castH4541metalמַסֵּֽכֹתָם֙ma.se.kho.TamH4541imagesH4541,and eliminateתַּשְׁמִֽידוּ׃tash.Mi.duH8045allכָּל־kol-H3605their highבָּמֹתָ֖םba.mo.TamH1116placesH1116;

53and you shall takeוְהוֹרַשְׁתֶּ֥םve.ho.rash.TemH3423possessionלָרֶ֥שֶׁתla.Re.shetH3423of the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776and liveוִֽישַׁבְתֶּם־vi.shav.tem-H3427in it, for I have givenנָתַ֥תִּיna.Ta.tiH5414the landהָאָ֖רֶץha.'A.retzH776to you to possessH3423it.

55But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you do not driveH3423outH3423the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of the landהָאָרֶץ֮ha.'a.RetzH776from you, then it will comeH1961aboutH1961that those whomאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834you letH3498remainH3498of them will belike thornsלְשִׂכִּים֙le.si.KimH7899in your eyesבְּעֵ֣ינֵיכֶ֔םbe.'Ei.nei.KhemH5869and like pricksוְלִצְנִינִ֖םve.litz.ni.NimH6796in your sidesבְּצִדֵּיכֶ֑םbe.tzi.dei.KhemH6654,and they will troubleוְצָרֲר֣וּve.tza.ra.RuH6887you in the landהָאָ֕רֶץha.'A.retzH776in whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you liveיֹשְׁבִ֥יםyo.she.VimH3427.
