2and they saidוַיֹּאמְר֗וּvai.yo.me.RuH559, “The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068commandedצִוָּ֣הtzi.VahH6680my lordאֲדֹנִי֙'a.do.NiH113to giveלָתֵ֨תla.TetH5414the landהָאָ֧רֶץha.'A.retzH776by lotבְּגוֹרָ֖לbe.go.RalH1486to the sonsלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478as an inheritanceבְּנַחֲלָ֛הbe.na.cha.LahH5159,and my lordוַֽאדֹנִי֙va.do.NiH113was commandedצֻוָּ֣הtzu.VahH6680by the Lordבַֽיהוָ֔הba.Yah.wehH3068to giveלָתֵ֗תla.TetH5414the inheritanceנַחֲלַ֛תna.cha.LatH5159of our brotherאָחִ֖ינוּ'a.Chi.nuH251Zelophehadצְלָפְחָ֥דtze.la.fe.ChadH6765to his daughtersלִבְנֹתָֽיו׃liv.no.TavH1323.

3But if theymarryוְ֠הָיוּ לְנָשִׁים֒Ve.ha.yu le.na.ShimH1961 H802oneלְאֶחָ֞דle.'e.ChadH259of the sonsמִבְּנֵ֨יmi.be.NeiH1121of the othertribesשִׁבְטֵ֥יshiv.TeiH7626of the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֮Yis.ra.'ElH3478,their inheritanceנַחֲלָתָן֙na.cha.la.TanH5159will be withdrawnוְנִגְרְעָ֤הve.nig.re.'AhH1639from the inheritanceמִנַּחֲלַ֣תmi.na.cha.LatH5159of our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1and will be addedוְנוֹסַ֕ףve.no.SafH3254to the inheritanceנַחֲלַ֣תna.cha.LatH5159of the tribeהַמַּטֶּ֔הha.ma.TehH4294to whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834they belongתִּהְיֶ֖ינָהtih.Yei.nahH1961;so it will be withdrawnיִגָּרֵֽעַ׃yi.ga.Re.a'H1639from our allottedוּמִגֹּרַ֥לu.mi.go.RalH1486inheritanceנַחֲלָתֵ֖נוּna.cha.la.Te.nuH5159.

4And whenוְאִם־ve.'im-H518thejubileeהַיֹּבֵל֮hai.yo.VelH3104of the sonsלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478takesH1961placeH1961,then their inheritanceנַחֲלָתָ֔ןna.cha.la.TanH5159will be addedוְנֽוֹסְפָה֙ve.nos.FahH3254to the inheritanceנַחֲלַ֣תna.cha.LatH5159of the tribeהַמַּטֶּ֔הha.ma.TehH4294to whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834they belongH1961;so their inheritanceוּמִֽנַּחֲלַת֙u.mi.na.cha.LatH5159will be withdrawnיִגָּרַ֖עyi.ga.Ra'H1639from the inheritanceנַחֲלָתָֽן׃na.cha.la.TanH5159of the tribeמַטֵּ֣הma.TehH4294of our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1.”

5Then Mosesמֹשֶׁה֙mo.ShehH4872commandedוַיְצַ֤וvay.TzavH6680the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478inH5921accordanceH5921withH5921thewordפִּ֥יpiH6310of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, “The tribeמַטֵּ֥הma.TehH4294of the sonsבְנֵֽי־ve.nei-H1121of Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130is rightH3653in itsstatementsדֹּבְרִֽים׃doe.RimH1696.

7Sonoוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808inheritanceנַחֲלָה֙na.cha.LahH5159of the sonsלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478willbe transferredתִסֹּ֤בti.SoH5437from tribeמִמַּטֶּ֖הmi.ma.TehH4294to tribeמַטֶּ֑הma.TehH4294,for the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall eachאִ֗ישׁ'IshH376retainH1692possessionH1692of the inheritanceבְּנַחֲלַת֙be.na.cha.LatH5159of the tribeמַטֵּ֣הma.TehH4294of his fathersאֲבֹתָ֔יו'a.vo.TavH1.

8And everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605daughterבַּ֞תbatH1323who comesH3423into possessionH3423of an inheritanceנַחֲלָ֗הna.cha.LahH5159of anytribeמִמַּטּוֹת֮mi.ma.tOtH4294of the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֒Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall marryלְאִשָּׁ֑הle.'i.ShahH802oneלְאֶחָ֗דle.'e.ChadH259of the familyמִמִּשְׁפַּ֛חַתmi.mish.Pa.chatH4940of the tribeמַטֵּ֥הma.TehH4294of her fatherאָבִ֖יהָ'a.Vi.haH1,soלְמַ֗עַןle.Ma.'anH4616thatH4616the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478may eachאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376possessH3423the inheritanceנַחֲלַ֥תna.cha.LatH5159of his fathersאֲבֹתָֽיו׃'a.vo.TavH1.

9So noוְלֹֽא־ve.lo'-H3808inheritanceנַחֲלָ֛הna.cha.LahH5159willbe transferredתִסֹּ֧בti.SoH5437from one tribeמִמַּטֶּ֖הmi.ma.TehH4294to anotherאַחֵ֑ר'a.CherH312tribeלְמַטֶּ֣הle.ma.TehH4294,for the tribesמַטּ֖וֹתma.TotH4294of the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall eachאִישׁ֙'ishH376retainH1692possessionH1692of its own inheritanceבְּנַ֣חֲלָת֔וֹbe.Na.cha.la.ToH5159.”

11Mahlahמַחְלָ֣הmach.LahH4244,Tirzahתִרְצָ֗הtir.TzahH8656,Hoglahוְחָגְלָ֧הve.cha.ge.LahH2295,Milcahוּמִלְכָּ֛הu.mil.KahH4435,and Noahוְנֹעָ֖הve.no.'AhH5270,the daughtersבְּנ֣וֹתbe.NotH1323of Zelophehadצְלָפְחָ֑דtze.la.fe.ChadH6765marriedלְנָשִֽׁים׃le.na.ShimH802their uncles’דֹדֵיהֶ֖ןdo.dei.HenH1730sonsלִבְנֵ֥יliv.NeiH1121.

12They marriedלְנָשִׁ֑יםle.na.ShimH802thosefrom the familiesמִֽמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֛תmi.mish.pe.ChotH4940of the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Manassehמְנַשֶּׁ֥הme.na.ShehH4519the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Josephיוֹסֵ֖ףyo.SefH3130,and their inheritanceנַחֲלָתָ֔ןna.cha.la.TanH5159remainedH1961with the tribeמַטֵּ֖הma.TehH4294of the familyמִשְׁפַּ֥חַתmish.Pa.chatH4940of their fatherאֲבִיהֶֽן׃'a.vi.HenH1.
