15“But theLeviticalהַלְוִיִּ֜םhal.vi.YimH3881priestsוְהַכֹּהֲנִ֨יםve.ha.ko.ha.NimH3548,the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121ofZadokצָד֗וֹקtza.DokH6659,whoאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834tookשָׁמְר֜וּsha.me.RuH8104responsibilityמִשְׁמֶ֤רֶתmish.Me.retH4931for My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁי֙mik.da.ShiH4720when the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478wentH8582astrayבִּתְע֤וֹתbit.'otH8582from Me, shall comeH7126nearH7126to Me to serveלְשָֽׁרְתֵ֑נִיle.sha.re.Te.niH8334Me; and they shallstandוְעָמְד֣וּve.'a.me.DuH5975beforeלְפָנַ֗יle.fa.NaiH6440Me to offerH7126Me thefatחֵ֣לֶבChe.levH2459and the bloodוָדָ֔םva.DamH1818,”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068.

16“They shallenterיָבֹ֣אוּya.Vo.'uH935My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֗יmik.da.ShiH4720;they shall comeH7126nearH7126to Mytableשֻׁלְחָנִ֖יshul.cha.NiH7979to serveלְשָׁרְתֵ֑נִיle.sha.re.Te.niH8334Me andassumeוְשָׁמְר֖וּve.sha.me.RuH8104the responsibilityמִשְׁמַרְתִּֽי׃mish.mar.TiH4931I give them.

17And it shall be that when they enterבְּבוֹאָם֙be.vo.'AmH935at the gatesשַׁעֲרֵי֙sha.'a.ReiH8179of the innerהַפְּנִימִ֔יתha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtyardהֶחָצֵ֣רhe.cha.TzerH2691,they shall be clothedיִלְבָּ֑שׁוּyil.Ba.shuH3847withlinenפִשְׁתִּ֖יםfish.TimH6593garmentsבִּגְדֵ֥יbig.DeiH899;and woolצֶ֔מֶרTze.merH6785shall notbe wornיַעֲלֶ֤הya.'a.LehH5927by them while they are ministeringבְּשָֽׁרְתָ֗םbe.sha.re.TamH8334in the gatesבְּשַׁעֲרֵ֛יbe.sha.'a.ReiH8179of the innerהַפְּנִימִ֖יתha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtyardהֶחָצֵ֥רhe.cha.TzerH2691or in the houseוָבָֽיְתָה׃va.Va.ye.tahH1004.

18Linenפִשְׁתִּים֙fish.TimH6593turbansפַּאֲרֵ֤יpa.'a.ReiH6287shall be on their headsרֹאשָׁ֔םro.ShamH7218andlinenפִשְׁתִּ֔יםfish.TimH6593undergarmentsוּמִכְנְסֵ֣יu.mikh.ne.SeiH4370shall be aroundH5921their waistsמָתְנֵיהֶ֑םma.te.nei.HemH4975;they shall not putH2296onH2296anything that makes themsweatבַּיָּֽזַע׃bai.Ya.za'H3154.

19And when they goוּ֠בְצֵאתָםU.ve.tze.tomH3318outH3318into the outerהַחִיצוֹנָ֜הha.chi.tzo.NahH2435courtyardהֶחָצֵ֨רhe.cha.TzerH2691,into the outerהַחִיצוֹנָה֮ha.chi.tzo.NahH2435courtyardהֶחָצֵ֣רhe.cha.TzerH2691to the peopleהָעָם֒ha.'AmH5971, they shalltakeH6584offH6584their garmentsבִּגְדֵיהֶ֗םbig.dei.HemH899in whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834they have been ministeringמְשָׁרְתִ֣םme.sha.re.TimH8334and layוְהִנִּ֥יחוּve.hi.Ni.chuH5117them in the holyהַקֹּ֑דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944chambersבְּלִֽשְׁכֹ֣תbe.lish.KhotH3957;then they shall putוְלָֽבְשׁוּ֙ve.la.ve.ShuH3847onH3847otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312garmentsבְּגָדִ֣יםbe.ga.DimH899, so that they willnot transferH6942holinessH6942to the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971with their garmentsבְּבִגְדֵיהֶֽם׃be.vig.dei.HemH899.

20Also they shallnot shaveיְגַלֵּ֔חוּye.ga.Le.chuH1548their headsוְרֹאשָׁם֙ve.ro.ShamH7218, yet they shall notletH7971their locksוּפֶ֖רַעu.Fe.ra'H6545growH7971longH7971;they shall onlyכָּס֥וֹםka.SomH3697trimיִכְסְמ֖וּyikh.se.MuH3697the hair oftheir headsרָאשֵׁיהֶֽם׃ra.shei.HemH7218.

21Norלֹֽא־lo'-H3808shall anyכָּל־kol-H3605of the priestsכֹּהֵ֑ןko.HenH3548drinkיִשְׁתּ֖וּyish.TuH8354wineוְיַ֥יִןve.Ya.yinH3196when they enterבְּבוֹאָ֖םbe.vo.'AmH935the innerהַפְּנִימִֽית׃ha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtyardהֶחָצֵ֥רhe.cha.TzerH2691.

22And they shall notmarryיִקְח֥וּyik.ChuH3947a widowוְאַלְמָנָה֙ve.'al.ma.NahH490or adivorcedוּגְרוּשָׁ֔הu.ge.ru.ShahH1644woman, but shalltakeיִקָּֽחוּ׃yi.Ka.chuH3947virginsבְּתוּלֹ֗תbe.tu.LotH1330from the descendantsמִזֶּ֙רַע֙mi.Ze.ra'H2233of the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,or a widowוְהָֽאַלְמָנָה֙ve.ha.'al.ma.NahH490whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is the widowאַלְמָנָ֔ה'al.ma.NahH490of a priestמִכֹּהֵ֖ןmi.ko.HenH3548.

23Moreover, they shall teachיוֹר֔וּyo.RuH3384My peopleעַמִּ֣י'a.MiH5971the differencebetweenבֵּ֥יןbeinH996the holyקֹ֖דֶשׁKo.deshH6944and thecommonלְחֹ֑לle.CholH2455,and teachH3045them to distinguishH3045betweenוּבֵין־u.vein-H996the uncleanטָמֵ֥אta.Me'H2931and the cleanלְטָה֖וֹרle.ta.HorH2889.

24In a disputeרִ֗יבRivH7379they shall takeH5975their standיַעַמְד֣וּya.'am.DuH5975to judgeיִשְׁפְּט֑וּהוּyish.fe.tu.huH8199;they shall judgeH8199it according to My ordinancesH4941.They shall also keepיִשְׁמֹ֔רוּyish.Mo.ruH8104My lawsתּוֹרֹתַ֤יto.ro.TaiH8451and My statutesחֻקֹּתַי֙chu.ko.TaiH2708in allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605Myappointedמוֹעֲדַ֣יmo.'a.DaiH4150feastsH4150, andsanctifyיְקַדֵּֽשׁוּ׃ye.ka.De.shuH6942My Sabbathsשַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676.

25They shall not goיָב֖וֹאya.Vo'H935to a deadמֵ֣תmetH4191personאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120to defileלְטָמְאָ֑הle.ta.me.'AhH2930themselves;howeverכִּ֣י אִם־ki 'im-H3588 H518,for fatherלְאָ֡בle.'AvH1,for motherוּ֠לְאֵםU.le.'emH517,for sonוּלְבֵ֨ןu.le.VenH1121,for daughterוּלְבַ֜תu.le.VatH1323,for brotherלְאָ֗חle.'AchH251,or for a sisterוּלְאָח֛וֹתu.le.'a.ChotH269whoאֲשֶֽׁר־'a.Sher-H834has not hadהָיְתָ֥הha.ye.TahH1961a husbandלְאִ֖ישׁle.'IshH376,they may defileיִטַּמָּֽאוּ׃yi.ta.Ma.'uH2930themselves.

26And afterוְאַחֲרֵ֖יve.'a.cha.ReiH310he iscleansedטָֽהֳרָת֑וֹto.ho.ra.ToH2893,sevenשִׁבְעַ֥תshiv.'AtH7651daysיָמִ֖יםya.MimH3117shall elapseיִסְפְּרוּ־yis.pe.ru-H5608for him.

27On the dayוּבְיוֹם֩u.ve.yOmH3117that he goesבֹּא֨וֹbo.'OH935into the sanctuaryהַקֹּ֜דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944, to theinnerהַפְּנִימִית֙ha.pe.ni.MitH6442courtyardהֶחָצֵ֤רhe.cha.TzerH2691to ministerלְשָׁרֵ֣תle.sha.RetH8334in the sanctuaryבַּקֹּ֔דֶשׁba.Ko.deshH6944,he shall offerיַקְרִ֖יבyak.RivH7126hissinחַטָּאת֑וֹcha.ta.ToH2403offeringH2403,”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068.

28“And it shall be regarding an inheritanceלְֽנַחֲלָ֔הle.na.cha.LahH5159for them, thatI am their inheritanceנַֽחֲלָתָ֑םna.cha.la.TamH5159;and you shall giveתִתְּנ֤וּti.te.NuH5414them noלֹֽא־lo'-H3808propertyוַאֲחֻזָּ֗הva.'a.chu.ZahH272in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478--I am their propertyאֲחֻזָּתָֽם׃'a.chu.za.TamH272.

29They shalleatיֹֽאכְל֑וּםyokh.LumH398the grain offeringהַמִּנְחָה֙ha.min.ChahH4503,the sinוְהַחַטָּ֣אתve.ha.cha.TatH2403offeringH2403,and the guiltוְהָאָשָׁ֔םve.ha.'a.ShamH817offeringH817;and everythingוְכָל־ve.kholH3605bannedH2764fromH2764secularH2764useH2764in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לbe.Yis.ra.'ElH3478shall be theirsהֵ֖מָּהHe.mahH4480 H1992.

30And the firstוְרֵאשִׁית֩ve.re.ShitH7225of allכָּל־kol-H3605thefirstH1061fruitsH1061of everyכֹ֜לkholH3605kind and everyוְכָל־ve.kholH3605contributionתְּר֣וּמַתte.Ru.matH8641of everyכֹּ֗לKolH3605kind, from allמִכֹּל֙mi.KolH3605yourcontributionsתְּרוּמ֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔םte.ru.Mo.tei.KhemH8641,shall be for the priestsלַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםla.ko.ha.NimH3548;you shall also giveתִּתְּנ֣וּti.te.NuH5414to the priestלַכֹּהֵ֔ןla.ko.HenH3548thefirstוְרֵאשִׁ֤יתve.re.ShitH7225of yourdoughעֲרִסֽוֹתֵיכֶם֙a.ri.so.tei.KhemH6182, to make ablessingבְּרָכָ֖הbe.ra.KhahH1293restלְהָנִ֥יחַle.ha.Ni.achH5117on your houseבֵּיתֶֽךָ׃bei.Te.khaH1004.

31The priestsהַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃ פha.ko.ha.NimH3548shall not eatיֹאכְל֖וּyo.khe.LuH398anyכָּל־kol-H3605birdהָע֖וֹףha.'ofH5775or animalהַבְּהֵמָ֑הha.be.he.MahH929that hasdiedH5038aH5038naturalH5038deathH5038or has been tornוּטְרֵפָ֔הu.te.re.FahH2966toH2966piecesH2966byH2966animalsH2966.
