16“Now you, sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָ֗ם'a.DamH120,takeקַח־kach-H3947for yourselfoneאֶחָ֔ד'e.ChadH259stickעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086and writeוּכְתֹ֤בu.khe.ToH3789on it, ‘ForJudahלִֽיהוּדָ֔הli.hu.DahH3063and for the sonsוְלִבְנֵ֥יve.liv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,his companionsחֲבֵרָ֑יוcha.ve.rovH2270’;then takeוּלְקַח֙u.le.KachH3947anotherאֶחָ֔ד'e.ChadH259stickעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086and writeוּכְת֣וֹבu.khe.TovH3789on it, ‘ForJosephלְיוֹסֵף֙le.yo.SefH3130,the stickעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086of Ephraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,his companionsחֲבֵרָֽיו׃cha.ve.rovH2270.’

17ThenputH7126them togetherH7126for yourself oneאֶחָ֧ד'e.ChadH259to anotherאֶחָ֛ד'e.ChadH259into oneאֶחָ֑ד'e.ChadH259stickלְעֵ֣ץle.'EtzH6086,so that they may becomeוְהָי֥וּve.ha.YuH1961oneלַאֲחָדִ֖יםla.'a.cha.DimH259in your handבְּיָדֶֽךָ׃be.ya.De.khaH3027.

18And whenH3512the sonsבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of your peopleעַמְּךָ֖'a.me.KhaH5971speakיֹאמְר֣וּyo.me.RuH559to you, sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559, ‘Will you not declareתַגִּ֥ידta.GidH5046to uswhatמָה־mah-H4100you mean by theseאֵ֥לֶּה'E.lehH428?’

19sayדַּבֵּ֣רda.BerH1696to them, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַר֮'a.MarH559: “Beholdהִנֵּה֩hi.NehH2009,I am going to takeלֹקֵ֜חַlo.Ke.achH3947the stickעֵ֤ץ'etzH6086of Josephיוֹסֵף֙yo.SefH3130,whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834is in the handבְּיַד־be.yad-H3027of Ephraimאֶפְרַ֔יִם'ef.Ra.yimH669,and the tribesוְשִׁבְטֵ֥יve.shiv.TeiH7626of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,his companionsחֲבֵרָ֑יוchev.rovH2270;and I will putוְנָתַתִּי֩ve.na.ta.TiH5414them with it, with the stickעֵ֣ץ'etzH6086of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063,and makeוַֽעֲשִׂיתִם֙va.'a.si.TimH6213them oneאֶחָ֔ד'e.ChadH259stickלְעֵ֣ץle.'EtzH6086,and they will be oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259in My handבְּיָדִֽי׃be.ya.DiH3027.”’

20The sticksהָעֵצִ֜יםha.'e.TzimH6086on whichאֲֽשֶׁר־'asher-H834you writeתִּכְתֹּ֧בtikh.ToH3789will be in your handבְּיָדְךָ֖be.ya.de.KhaH3027before their eyesלְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃le.'ei.nei.HemH5869.

21And sayוְדַבֵּ֣רve.da.BerH1696to them, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַר֮'a.MarH559: “Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009, I am going totakeלֹקֵ֙חַ֙lo.Ke.achH3947the sonsבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478from amongמִבֵּ֥יןmi.BeinH996the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471whereאֲשֶׁ֣ר שָׁ֑ם'a.Sher ShamH834 H8033they have goneהָֽלְכוּ־hal.khu-H1980,and I will gatherוְקִבַּצְתִּ֤יve.ki.batz.TiH6908them from everyH5439sideH5439and bringוְהֵבֵאתִ֥יve.he.ve.TiH935them into their own landאַדְמָתָֽם׃'ad.ma.TamH127;

22and I will makeוְעָשִׂ֣יתִיve.'a.Si.tiH6213themoneאֶחָ֤ד'e.ChadH259nationלְג֨וֹיle.GoyH1471in the landבָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ba.'A.retzH776,on the mountainsבְּהָרֵ֣יbe.ha.ReiH2022of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478; andoneאֶחָ֛ד'e.ChadH259kingוּמֶ֧לֶךְu.Me.lekhH4428will be kingלְמֶ֑לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428for allלְכֻלָּ֖םle.khu.LamH3605of them; and they will noוְלֹ֤אve.Lo'H3808longerH5750be twoלִשְׁנֵ֣יlish.NeiH8147nationsגוֹיִ֔םgo.YimH1471,and noוְלֹ֨אve.Lo'H3808longerH5750be dividedיֵחָ֥צוּye.Cha.tzuH2673into twoלִשְׁתֵּ֥יlish.TeiH8147kingdomsמַמְלָכ֖וֹתmam.la.KhotH4467.

23They willnoוְלֹ֧אve.Lo'H3808longerע֗וֹדodH5750defileיִֽטַמְּא֣וּyi.ta.me.'UH2930themselves with their idolsבְּגִלּֽוּלֵיהֶם֙be.gi.lu.lei.HemH1544,or with their detestableH8251thingsH8251,or with anyוּבְכֹ֖לu.ve.KholH3605of their offensesפִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֑םpish.'ei.HemH6588; butI will rescueוְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣יve.ho.sha'.TiH3467them from allמִכֹּ֤לmi.KolH3605theirdwellingמוֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙mo.she.vo.tei.HemH4186placesH4186in whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834they have sinnedחָטְא֣וּcha.te.'UH2398,and will cleanseוְטִהַרְתִּ֤יve.ti.har.TiH2891them. And they will be My peopleלְעָ֔םle.'AmH5971,and I will be their Godלֵאלֹהִֽים׃le.lo.HimH430.

24“And My servantוְעַבְדִּ֤יve.'av.DiH5650Davidדָוִד֙da.VidH1732will be kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428overעֲלֵיהֶ֔ם'a.lei.HemH5921them, and they will allלְכֻלָּ֑םle.khu.LamH3605haveיִהְיֶ֣הyih.YehH1961oneאֶחָ֖ד'e.ChadH259shepherdוְרוֹעֶ֥הve.ro.'EhH7462;and they will walkיֵלֵ֔כוּye.Le.khuH1980in My ordinancesוּבְמִשְׁפָּטַ֣יu.ve.mish.pa.TaiH4941,and keepיִשְׁמְר֖וּyish.me.RuH8104My statutesוְחֻקֹּתַ֥יve.chu.ko.TaiH2708andfollowוְעָשׂ֥וּve.'a.SuH6213them.

25And they will liveוְיָשְׁב֣וּve.ya.she.VuH3427on the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776that I gaveנָתַ֙תִּי֙na.Ta.tiH5414to My servantלְעַבְדִּ֣יle.'av.DiH5650Jacobלְיַֽעֲקֹ֔בle.ya.'a.KoH3290,in whichH834your fathersאֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם'a.vo.tei.KhemH1livedיָֽשְׁבוּ־ya.she.vu-H3427;and they will liveוְיָשְׁב֣וּve.ya.she.VuH3427on it, they, and their sonsוּבְנֵיהֶ֞םu.ve.nei.HemH1121and their sons’וּבְנֵ֤יu.ve.NeiH1121sonsבְנֵיהֶם֙ve.nei.HemH1121,foreverעַד־ עוֹלָ֔ם'ad- o.LamH5704 H5769;and My servantעַבְדִּ֔י'av.DiH5650Davidוְדָוִ֣דve.da.VidH1732will be their leaderנָשִׂ֥יאna.Si'H5387foreverלְעוֹלָֽם׃le.'o.LamH5769.

26And I will makeוְכָרַתִּ֤יve.kha.ra.TiH3772acovenantבְּרִ֣יתbe.RitH1285of peaceשָׁל֔וֹםsha.LomH7965with them; it will be aneverlastingעוֹלָ֖םo.LamH5769covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285with them. And I willplaceוּנְתַתִּים֙u.ne.ta.TimH5414them andmultiplyוְהִרְבֵּיתִ֣יve.hir.bei.TiH7235them, and setוְנָתַתִּ֧יve.na.ta.TiH5414Mysanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֛יmik.da.ShiH4720in their midstבְּתוֹכָ֖םbe.to.KhamH8432foreverלְעוֹלָֽם׃le.'o.LamH5769.

27MydwellingH4908placeמִשְׁכָּנִי֙mish.ka.NiH4908also will be amongעֲלֵיהֶ֔ם'a.lei.HemH5921them; andI will be their Godלֵֽאלֹהִ֑יםle.lo.HimH430,and they will be My peopleלְעָֽם׃le.'AmH5971.

28And the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471will knowוְיָֽדְעוּ֙ve.ya.de.'UH3045that I am the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068who sanctifiesמְקַדֵּ֖שׁme.ka.DeshH6942Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,when My sanctuaryמִקְדָּשִׁ֛יmik.da.ShiH4720is in their midstבְּתוֹכָ֖םbe.to.KhamH8432foreverלְעוֹלָֽם׃ סle.'o.LamH5769.”’”
