1“Now you, sonבֶן־ven-H1121of manאָדָ֔ם'a.DamH120,prophesyהִנָּבֵ֖אhi.na.Ve'H5012to the mountainsהָרֵ֣יha.ReiH2022of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478and sayוְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ve.'A.mar.taH559, ‘You mountainsהָרֵי֙ha.ReiH2022of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,hearשִׁמְע֖וּshim.'UH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

2ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GodH3068saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559: “Sinceיַ֣עַןYa.'anH3282the enemyH340has spokenאָמַ֧ר'a.MarH559againstעֲלֵיכֶ֖ם'a.lei.KhemH5921you, ‘Ahaהֶאָ֑חhe.'AchH1889!’and, ‘The everlastingעוֹלָ֔םo.LamH5769heightsוּבָמ֣וֹתu.va.MotH1116have becomeהָ֥יְתָהHa.ye.tahH1961our possessionלְמֽוֹרָשָׁ֖הle.mo.ra.ShahH4181,’

3thereforeלָכֵן֙la.KhenH3651prophesyהִנָּבֵ֣אhi.na.Ve'H5012and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֔ve.'a.mar.TaH559, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559: “For good reasonH3282they have madeH8074youdesolateשַׁמּוֹת֩sha.mOtH8074and harassedוְשָׁאֹ֨ףve.sha.'OfH7602you from everyH5439sideH5439,so that you would becomeלִֽהְיוֹתְכֶ֤םlih.yot.KhemH1961a possessionמֽוֹרָשָׁה֙mo.ra.ShahH4181of the restלִשְׁאֵרִ֣יתlish.'e.RitH7611of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471;and you have been takenH5927upH5927in thetalkשְׂפַ֥ת לָשׁ֖וֹןse.Fat la.ShonH8193 H3956and the rumorוְדִבַּת־ve.di.bat-H1681of the peopleעָֽם׃'AmH5971.”’”

5thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַר֮'a.MarH559thisכֹּֽה־koh-H3541: “Certainlyאִם־ לֹ֠א'im- lo'H518 H3808in the fireבְּאֵ֨שׁbe.'EshH784of Myjealousyקִנְאָתִ֥יkin.'a.TiH7068I have spokenדִבַּ֛רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696againstעַל־'al-H5921therestשְׁאֵרִ֥יתshe.'e.RitH7611of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471,and againstוְעַל־ve.'al-H5921allכֻּלָּ֑אku.La'H3605EdomH112,whoאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834appropriatedנָתְנֽוּ־na.te.nu-H5414My landאַרְצִ֣י׀'ar.TziH776for themselves as a possessionלְמ֨וֹרָשָׁ֜הle.Mo.ra.ShahH4181with wholeheartedכָּל־ לֵבָב֙kol- le.VavH3605 H3824joyבְּשִׂמְחַ֤תbe.sim.ChatH8057andwith contemptבִּשְׁאָ֣טbish.'AtH7589of soulנֶ֔פֶשׁNe.feshH5315,inH4616orderH4616toH4616makeits pasturelandמִגְרָשָׁ֖הּmig.ra.ShahH4054plunderלָבַֽז׃la.VazH957.”

6Thereforeלָכֵ֕ןla.KhenH3651prophesyהִנָּבֵ֖אhi.na.Ve'H5012in regardעַל־'al-H5921to the landאַדְמַ֣ת'ad.MatH127of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֡ve.'a.mar.TaH559to the mountainsלֶהָרִ֣יםle.ha.RimH2022and to the hillsוְ֠לַגְּבָעוֹתVe.la.ge.va.'otH1389,to the ravinesלָאֲפִיקִ֨יםla.'a.fi.KimH650and to the valleysוְלַגֵּאָי֜וֹתve.la.ge.'a.YotH1516, “ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַ֣ר׀'a.MarH559: ‘BeholdH2009,I have spokenדִּבַּ֔רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696in My jealousyבְקִנְאָתִ֤יve.kin.'a.TiH7068and in My wrathוּבַחֲמָתִי֙u.va.cha.ma.TiH2534becauseיַ֛עַןYa.'anH3282you haveenduredנְשָׂאתֶֽם׃ne.sa.TemH5375the insultsכְּלִמַּ֥תke.li.MatH3639of the nationsגּוֹיִ֖םgo.YimH1471.’

7Thereforeלָכֵ֗ןla.KhenH3651the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068saysאָמַר֙'a.MarH559thisכֹּ֤הkohH3541: ‘I haveswornנָשָׂ֣אתִי יָדִ֑יna.Sa.ti ya.DiH5375 H3027that the nationsהַגּוֹיִם֙ha.go.YimH1471that are aroundמִסָּבִ֔יבmi.sa.VivH5439you will certainlyאִם־ לֹ֤א'im- lo'H518 H3808endureיִשָּֽׂאוּ׃yi.Sa.'uH5375their insultsכְּלִמָּתָ֥םke.li.ma.TamH3639themselvesהֵ֖מָּהHe.mahH1992.

8But as for you, mountainsהָרֵ֤יha.ReiH2022of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵל֙Yis.ra.'ElH3478, you willgrowתִּתֵּ֔נוּti.Te.nuH5414your branchesעַנְפְּכֶ֣ם'an.pe.KhemH6057and bearתִּשְׂא֖וּtis.'UH5375fruitוּפֶרְיְכֶ֥םu.fer.ye.KhemH6529for My peopleלְעַמִּ֣יle.'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478;for they areH7126aboutH7126to comeלָבֽוֹא׃la.Vo'H935.
