4And his sisterאֲחֹת֖וֹ'a.cho.ToH269stoodוַתֵּתַצַּ֥בva.te.ta.TzavH3320at a distanceמֵרָחֹ֑קme.ra.ChokH7350tofindלְדֵעָ֕הle.de.'AhH3045out whatמַה־mah-H4100wouldhappenיֵּעָשֶׂ֖הye.'a.SehH6213to him.

5Now the daughterבַּת־bat-H1323of Pharaohפַּרְעֹה֙par.'OhH6547cameH3381downוַתֵּ֤רֶדva.Te.redH3381to batheלִרְחֹ֣ץlir.ChotzH7364at the Nileהַיְאֹ֔רhay.'OrH2975,with her femaleוְנַעֲרֹתֶ֥יהָve.na.'a.ro.Tei.haH5291attendantsH5291walkingהֹלְכֹ֖תho.le.KhotH1980alongsideיַ֣דyadH5921 H3027the Nileהַיְאֹ֑רhay.'OrH2975;and she sawוַתֵּ֤רֶאva.Te.re'H7200thebasketהַתֵּבָה֙ha.te.VahH8392amongבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the reedsהַסּ֔וּףha.SufH5488and sentוַתִּשְׁלַ֥חva.tish.LachH7971her slaveH519womanH519,and she broughtוַתִּקָּחֶֽהָva.ti.ka.Che.haH3947it to her.

6When she openedוַתִּפְתַּח֙va.tif.TachH6605it, shesawוַתִּרְאֵ֣הוּva.tir.'E.huH7200the childהַיֶּ֔לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206,and beholdוְהִנֵּה־ve.hi.neh-H2009, theboyנַ֖עַרNa.'arH5288was cryingבֹּכֶ֑הbo.KhehH1058.And she hadH2550pityH2550on him and saidוַתֹּ֕אמֶרva.To.merH559, “Thisזֶֽה׃ZehH2088is oneH4480of the Hebrews’הָֽעִבְרִ֖יםha.'iv.RimH5680childrenמִיַּלְדֵ֥יmi.yal.DeiH3206.”

7Then his sisterאֲחֹתוֹ֮'a.cho.ToH269saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559to Pharaoh’sפַּרְעֹה֒par.'OhH6547daughterבַּת־bat-H1323, “Shall I goהַאֵלֵ֗ךְha.'e.LekhH1980and callוְקָרָ֤אתִיve.ka.Ra.tiH7121a womanאִשָּׁ֣ה'i.ShahH802for you who is nursingמֵינֶ֔קֶתmei.Ne.ketH3243from the Hebrewהָעִבְרִיֹּ֑תha.'iv.ri.YotH5680womenH5680,so that she may nurseוְתֵינִ֥קve.tei.NikH3243the childהַיָּֽלֶד׃hai.Ya.ledH3206for you?”

8Pharaoh’sפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547daughterבַּת־bat-H1323saidוַתֹּֽאמֶר־va.to.mer-H559to her, “Goלֵ֑כִיLe.khiH1980ahead.”So the girlהָֽעַלְמָ֔הha.'al.MahH5959wentוַתֵּ֙לֶךְ֙va.Te.lekhH1980and calledוַתִּקְרָ֖אva.tik.Ra'H7121the child’sהַיָּֽלֶד׃hai.Ya.ledH3206motherאֵ֥ם'emH517.
