33Some of the crowdὄχλουochlouG3793concludedσυνεβίβασανsunebibasanG4822it wasAlexanderἈλέξανδρονAlexandronG223,since the JewsἸουδαίων·IoudaiōnG2453had putG4261him forwardG4261; and havingmotionedκατασείσαςkataseisasG2678with his handχεῖραcheiraG5495,AlexanderἈλέξανδροςAlexandrosG223was intendingἤθελενēthelenG2309to makeG626aG626defenseἀπολογεῖσθαιapologeisthaiG626to the assemblyδήμῳ.dēmōG1218.

34But when they recognizedἐπιγνόντεςepignontesG1921that he was a JewἸουδαῖόςIoudaiosG2453,a singleμίαmiaG1520outcryφωνὴphōnēG5456aroseἐγένετοegenetoG1096from them allπάντωνpantōnG3956as they shoutedκραζόντων·krazontōnG2896for aboutὡςhōsG5613twoδύοduoG1417hoursὥραςhōrasG5610, “GreatμεγάληmegalēG3173isArtemisἌρτεμιςArtemisG735of the EphesiansἘφεσίων.EphesiōnG2180!”
