Matthew 5:39-48
39But I sayG3004 to you, do not resistG436 an evilG4190 person; but 1whoeverG3748 slapsG4474 you on your rightG1188 cheekG4600, turnG4762 the otherG243 to him alsoG2532. 40If anyone wantsG2309 to sueG2919 you and takeG2983 your 2shirtG5509, letG863 him haveG863 your 3coatG2440 alsoG2532. 41WhoeverG3748 4forcesG29 you to go oneG1520 mileG3400, goG5217 with him twoG1417. 425GiveG1325 to him who asksG154 of you, and do not turnG654 awayG654 from him who wantsG2309 to borrowG1155 from you.
43“6You have heardG191 that it was saidG3004, ‘7You shall loveG25 your neighborG4139 8and hateG3404 your enemyG2190.’ 44But I sayG3004 to you, 9loveG25 your enemiesG2190 and prayG4336 for thoseG3588 who persecuteG1377 you, 45soG3704 that you may 10be 11sonsG5207 of your FatherG3962 whoG3588 is in heavenG3772; for He causesG393 His sunG2246 to riseG393 on the evilG4190 and the goodG18, and sendsG1026 rainG1026 on the righteousG1342 and the unrighteousG94. 46For 12ifG1437 you loveG25 thoseG3588 who loveG25 you, whatG5101 rewardG3408 doG4160 you haveG2192? Do not evenG2532 the taxG5057 collectorsG5057 doG4160 the sameG846? 47IfG1437 you greetG782 onlyG3440 your brothersG80, whatG5101 moreG4053 are you doingG4160 than others? Do not evenG2532 the GentilesG1482 doG4160 the sameG846? 48ThereforeG3767 1314you are to be perfectG5046, as your heavenlyG3770 FatherG3962 is perfectG5046.
