Isaiah 56:3-12
3Let not the 1foreignerH1121H5236 who has joinedH3867 himself to the LordH3068 sayH559, “The LordH3068 will surelyH914 separateH914 me from His peopleH5971.” NorH408 let the 2eunuchH5631 sayH559, “BeholdH2005, I am a dryH3002 treeH6086.”4For thusH3541 saysH559 the LordH3068, “To the eunuchsH5631 whoH834 3keepH8104 My sabbathsH7676, And chooseH977 whatH834 pleasesH2654 Me, And 4holdH2388 fastH2388 My covenantH1285,5To them I will giveH5414 in My 5houseH1004 and within My 6wallsH2346 a memorialH3027, And a nameH8034 betterH2896 thanH4480 that of sonsH1121 and daughtersH1323; I will giveH5414 7them an everlastingH5769 8nameH8034 whichH834 9will not be cutH3772 offH3772.
6“Also the 10foreignersH1121H5236 who joinH3867 themselves to the LordH3068, To ministerH8334 to Him, and to loveH157 the nameH8034 of the LordH3068, To be His servantsH5650, everyH3605 oneH3605 who 11keepsH8104 from profaningH2490 the sabbathH7676 And holdsH2388 fastH2388 My covenantH1285;7Even 12those I will bringH935 to My 13holyH6944 mountainH2022 And 14makeH8055 them joyfulH8055 in My houseH1004 of prayerH8605. Their burntH5930 offeringsH5930 and their sacrificesH2077 will be acceptableH7522 on 15My altarH4196; For 16My houseH1004 will be calledH7121 a houseH1004 of prayerH8605 for allH3605 the peoplesH5971.”8The LordH136 17GodH3068, who 18gathersH6908 the dispersedH5080 of IsraelH3478, declaresH5002, “YetH5750 19others I will gatherH6908 to 20them, to those already gatheredH6908.”
9AllH3605 you 21beastsH2421 of the fieldH7706, AllH3605 you beastsH2421 in the forestH3293, ComeH857 to eatH398.10His 22watchmenH6822 are 23blindH5787, AllH3605 of them knowH3045 nothingH3808. AllH3605 of them are muteH483 dogsH3611 unableH3808H3201 to barkH5024, 24DreamersH1957 lyingH7901 downH7901, who loveH157 to slumberH5123;11And the dogsH3611 are 2526greedyH5315H5794, they 27are not satisfiedH3045H7654. And they are shepherdsH7462 who haveH3045 28noH3808 understandingH995; They have allH3605 29turnedH6437 to their own wayH1870, EachH376 oneH376 to his unjustH1215 gainH1215, to the lastH7097 oneH7097.12“ComeH857,” they say, “let 30us getH3947 31wineH3196, and let us drinkH7941 heavilyH5433 of strongH7941 drinkH5433; And 32tomorrowH4279 will be like todayH2088H3117, only moreH1419H3499H3966 so.”
