Isaiah 53:3-7
3He was 1despisedH959 and forsakenH2310 of menH376, A manH376 of 2sorrowsH4341 and 3acquaintedH3045 with 4griefH2483; And like one from whom men hideH4564 their faceH6440 He was 5despisedH959, and we did not 6esteemH2803 Him.
4SurelyH403 our 7griefsH2483 He HimselfH1931 8boreH5375, And our 9sorrowsH4341 He carriedH5445; Yet we ourselvesH587 esteemedH2803 Him strickenH5060, 10SmittenH5221 of 11GodH430, and afflictedH6031.5But He was 12piercedH2490 throughH2490 for 13our transgressionsH6588, He was crushedH1792 for 14our iniquitiesH5771; The 15chasteningH4148 for our 16well-beingH7965 fell upon Him, And by 17His scourgingH2250 we are healedH7495.6AllH3605 of us like sheepH6629 have goneH8582 astrayH8582, EachH376 of us has turnedH6437 to his own wayH1870; But the LordH3068 has caused the iniquityH5771 of us allH3605 To 18fallH6293 on Him.
7He was oppressedH5065 and He was afflictedH6031, Yet He did not 19openH6605 His mouthH6310; 20Like a lambH7716 that is ledH2986 to slaughterH2874, And like a sheepH7353 that is silentH481 beforeH6440 its shearersH1494, So He did not openH6605 His mouthH6310.
