Proverbs 1:20-30
Wisdom crieth without; she raiseth her voiceH6963 in the broadways;
she calleth in the chiefH7218 [place] of concourse, in the entry of the gatesH8179; in the cityH5892 she uttereth her wordsH561:
How long, simple ones, will ye loveH157 simpleness, and scorners take pleasure in their scorning, and the foolish hateH8130 knowledgeH1847?
TurnH7725 you at my reproof: behold, I will pourH5042 forthH5042 my spiritH7307 unto you, I will makeH3045 knownH3045 to you my wordsH1697.
Because I have calledH7121, and ye refusedH3985; I have stretchedH5186 out my handH3027, and no one regarded;
and ye have rejected all my counselH6098, and wouldH14 none of my reproof:
I alsoH1571 will laughH7832 in your calamityH343, I will mockH3932 when your fearH6343 cometh;
when your fearH6343 cometh as sudden destruction, and your calamityH343 cometh as a whirlwind; when distressH6869 and anguish comeH935 upon you:
— thenH227 will they callH7121 upon me, but I will not answerH6030; they will seekH7836 me early, and shall not findH4672 me.
Because they hatedH8130 knowledgeH1847, and did not chooseH977 the fearH3374 of Jehovah;
they wouldH14 none of my counselH6098, they despised all my reproof:
