Darby Bible
Job 30:1-14
But nowH6258 they that are youngerH6810 than I have me in derision, whose fathersH1 I would have disdained to setH7896 with the dogsH3611 of my flockH6629.
Yea, whereto [should] the strengthH3581 of their handsH3027 [profit] me, [men] in whom vigour hath perishedH6?
Withered up through want and hunger, they flee into waste places long since desolate and desert:
They gather the salt-wort among the bushesH7880, and the rootsH8328 of the broomH7574 for their foodH3899.
They are drivenH1644 forth from among [men] — they cryH7321 after them as after a thiefH1590 —
To dwellH7931 in gloomy gorges, in caves of the earthH6083 and the rocksH3710:
They brayH5101 among the bushesH7880; under the brambles they are gathered together:
SonsH1121 of foolsH5036, and sonsH1121 of nameless sires, they are driven out of the landH776.
And nowH6258 I amH1961 their songH5058, yea, I amH1961 their byword.
They abhorH8581 me, they stand aloof from me, yea, they spare not to spit in my faceH6440.
For he hath loosed my cord and afflicted me; so they cast off the bridle before me.
At [my] rightH3225 handH3225 riseH6965 the young brood; they push awayH7971 my feetH7272, and raiseH6965 up against me their pernicious waysH734;
They mar my pathH5410, they set forward my calamity, without any to helpH5826 them;
They comeH857 in as through a wideH7342 breachH6556: amid the confusion they rollH1556 themselves onward.
