Samuel 24:10-14

And David's heartH3820 smote him after he had numbered the peopleH5971. And DavidH1732 saidH559 to Jehovah, I have sinnedH2398 greatly in what I have done; and nowH6258, I beseech thee, Jehovah, put away the iniquityH5771 of thy servantH5650; for I have done veryH3966 foolishlyH5528.

And when DavidH1732 aroseH6965 in the morningH1242, the wordH1697 of Jehovah came to the prophetH5030 GadH1410, David's seerH2374, sayingH559,

GoH1980 and sayH559 to DavidH1732, ThusH3541 saith Jehovah: I impose on thee threeH7969 [thingsH7969]; chooseH977 oneH259 of them that I may do it unto thee.

And GadH1410 cameH935 to DavidH1732, and toldH5046 him, and saidH559 to him, Shall sevenH7651 yearsH8141 of famineH7458 comeH935 to thee in thy landH776? or wilt thou fleeH5127 threeH7969 monthsH2320 before thine adversaries while they pursueH7291 thee? or shall there beH1961 threeH7969 days' pestilenceH1698 in thy landH776? NowH6258 beH1961 aware and considerH7200 what wordH1697 I shall bringH935 again to him that sentH7971 me.

And DavidH1732 saidH559 to GadH1410, I am in a great strait: let us fallH5307, I pray thee, into the handH3027 of Jehovah; for his mercies are great; but let me not fallH5307 into the handH3027 of manH120.
