Samuel 11:2-9
And it came to pass at eveningH6153 timeH6256 that DavidH1732 aroseH6965 from off his couch, and walkedH1980 upon the roofH1406 of the king's houseH1004; and from the roofH1406 he sawH7200 a womanH802 bathingH7364, and the womanH802 wasH1961 veryH3966 beautiful;
and DavidH1732 sentH7971 and inquired after the womanH802. And one saidH559, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughterH1323 of EliamH463, the wifeH802 of Urijah the HittiteH2850?
And DavidH1732 sentH7971 messengersH4397, and tookH3947 her; and she cameH935 in to him, and he layH7901 with her; and she had purified herself from her uncleannessH2932; and she returnedH7725 to her houseH1004.
And the womanH802 conceivedH2029, and sentH7971 and toldH5046 DavidH1732, and saidH559, I am with child.
And DavidH1732 sentH7971 to JoabH3097 [saying], SendH7971 me Urijah the HittiteH2850. And JoabH3097 sentH7971 Urijah to DavidH1732.
And when Urijah had comeH935 to him, DavidH1732 askedH7592 how JoabH3097 prospered, and how the peopleH5971 prospered, and how the warH4421 prospered.
And DavidH1732 saidH559 to Urijah, GoH3318 down to thy houseH1004 and washH7364 thy feetH7272. And Urijah departed out of the king's houseH1004, and there followed him presents from the kingH4428.
And Urijah slept at the entranceH6607 of the king's houseH1004 with all the servantsH5650 of his lordH113, and wentH3381 not downH3381 to his houseH1004.
