Darby Bible
Kings 9:4-9
And [as for] thee, if thou wilt walkH1980 before me, as DavidH1732 thy fatherH1 walkedH1980, in integrityH8537 of heartH3824, and in uprightnessH3476, to do according to all that I have commandedH6680 thee, [and] wilt keepH8104 my statutesH2706 and mine ordinancesH4941;
then will I establishH6965 the throneH3678 of thy kingdomH4467 over IsraelH3478 for everH5769, as I promised to DavidH1732 thy fatherH1, sayingH559, There shall not fail thee a manH376 upon the throneH3678 of IsraelH3478.
[But] if ye shall at all turnH7725 from following me, ye or your children, and will not keepH8104 my commandmentsH4687, my statutesH2708 which I have setH5414 before you, but goH1980 and serveH5647 otherH312 1godsH430, and worship them;
then will I cutH3772 off IsraelH3478 out of the landH127 which I have givenH5414 them; and the houseH1004, which I have hallowed to my nameH8034, will I cast out of my sight; and IsraelH3478 shall beH1961 a proverbH4912 and a by word among all peoplesH5971;
and this houseH1004, [which] is high, every oneH2088 that passesH5674 by it shall beH1961 astonished at, and shall hissH8319, and they shall sayH559, WhyH4100 has Jehovah done thusH3602 to this landH776 and to this houseH1004?
And they shall sayH559, Because they forsook Jehovah their 2GodH430, who broughtH935 forthH3318 their fathersH1 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, and have attached themselves to otherH312 3godsH430, and have worshipped them and servedH5647 them; thereforeH3651 has Jehovah broughtH935 upon them all this evilH7451.
