Darby Bible
Kings 8:6-13
And the priestsH3548 broughtH935 in the arkH727 of the covenantH1285 of Jehovah to its placeH4725, into the oracle of the houseH1004, into the most holyH6944 placeH4725, under the wingsH3671 of the cherubimH3742;
for the cherubimH3742 stretched forth [their] wingsH3671 over the placeH4725 of the arkH727, and the cherubimH3742 covered the arkH727 and its staves above.
And the staves wereH1961 long, so that the ends of the staves wereH1961 seenH7200 from the holyH6944 placeH6944 before the oracle, but they wereH1961 not seenH7200 without. And there they are to this dayH3117.
There was nothingH369 in the arkH727 save the twoH8147 tables of stoneH68 which MosesH4872 placed there at HorebH2722, whenH834 Jehovah madeH3772 [a covenant] with the children of IsraelH3478, whenH834 they cameH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714.
And it came to pass when the priestsH3548 wereH1961 come out of the holyH6944 placeH6944, that the cloudH6051 filledH4390 the houseH1004 of Jehovah,
and the priestsH3548 could not standH5975 to do their service because of the cloudH6051; for the gloryH3519 of Jehovah had filledH4390 the houseH1004 of Jehovah.
ThenH227 saidH559 SolomonH8010: Jehovah saidH559 that he would dwellH7931 in the thickH6205 darknessH6205.
I have indeed builtH1129 a houseH1004 of habitation for thee, a settled placeH4349 for thee to abide in for everH5769.
