Kings 11:4-13
And it came to pass when SolomonH8010 wasH1961 oldH2209, [that] his wivesH802 turnedH5186 away his heartH3824 after otherH312 1godsH430; and his heartH3824 wasH1961 not perfectH8003 with Jehovah his 2GodH430, as the heartH3824 of DavidH1732 his fatherH1.
And SolomonH8010 went after Ashtoreth the 3goddess of the Zidonians, and after MilcomH4445 the abominationH8251 of the AmmonitesH5984.
And SolomonH8010 did evilH7451 in the sight of Jehovah, and followed not fully Jehovah, as DavidH1732 his fatherH1.
ThenH227 did SolomonH8010 buildH1129 a highH1116 placeH1116 for ChemoshH3645 the abominationH8251 of the Moabites, on the hillH2022 that is before JerusalemH3389, and for MolechH4432 the abominationH8251 of the children of AmmonH5983.
And so he did for all his foreignH5237 wivesH802, who burned incenseH6999 and sacrificedH2076 to their 4godsH430.
And Jehovah was angryH599 with SolomonH8010, because his heartH3824 was turnedH5186 away from Jehovah the 5GodH430 of IsraelH3478, who had appearedH7200 to him twice,
and had commandedH6680 him concerning this thingH1697, not to go after otherH312 6godsH430; but he keptH8104 not what Jehovah had commandedH6680.
And Jehovah saidH559 to SolomonH8010, Forasmuch as this is done by thee, and thou hast not keptH8104 my covenantH1285 and my statutesH2708 which I commandedH6680 thee, I will certainly rend the kingdomH4467 from thee, and will giveH5414 it to thy servantH5650:
notwithstanding in thy daysH3117 I will not do it, for DavidH1732 thy father's sakeH4616; I will rend it out of the handH3027 of thy sonH1121;
onlyH7535, I will not rend awayH7167 all the kingdomH4467: I will giveH5414 oneH259 tribeH7626 to thy sonH1121, for DavidH1732 my servant's sakeH4616, and for Jerusalem's sakeH4616 which I have chosenH977.
