Isaiah 7:4-13
4and sayH559 to himH413: Calm downH8104 and be quietH8252. Do notH408 be afraidH3372 or disheartenedH3824H408H7401 over theseH428 twoH8147 smolderingH6226 stubsH2180 of firewoodH181—over the fierceH2750 angerH639 of RezinH7526 and AramH758 and of the sonH1121 of RemaliahH7425. 5ForH3282H3588 AramH758, along with EphraimH669 and the sonH1121 of RemaliahH7425, has plottedH3289 your ruinH7451H5921, sayingH559: 6‘Let us invadeH5927 JudahH3063, terrorize itH6973, and divide itH12341 among ourselvesH413. Then we can installH4428 the sonH1121 of TabealH2870 over itH8432 as kingH4427.’ 7But this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559:
10AgainH3254 the LORDH3068 spokeH1696 toH413 AhazH271, sayingH559, 11“AskH7592 for a signH226 fromH5973 the LORDH3068 your GodH430, whether from the depthsH6009 of SheolH7585 orH176 the heightsH1361 of heavenH4605.”
12But AhazH271 repliedH559, “I will notH3808 askH7592; I will notH3808 testH5254 the LORDH3068.”
13Then Isaiah saidH559, “HearH8085 nowH4994, O houseH1004 of DavidH1732! Is it not enoughH4592 to try the patienceH3811 of menH582H3588? Will you try the patienceH3811 of my GodH430 as wellH1571?
