20Then the LORDH3068saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֗הmo.ShehH4872, “Get up earlyהַשְׁכֵּ֤םhash.KemH7925in the morningבַּבֹּ֙קֶר֙ba.Bo.kerH1242,and when PharaohH6547goes outהִנֵּ֖ה יוֹצֵ֣אhi.Neh yo.Tze'H2009 H3318to the waterהַמָּ֑יְמָהha.Ma.ye.mahH4325,standוְהִתְיַצֵּב֙ve.hit.ya.TzevH3320before himH6440and tell himוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559thatאֵלָ֗יו'e.LavH413this is whatכֹּ֚הkohH3541the LORDH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559: ‘Let My peopleעַמִּ֖י'a.MiH5971goשַׁלַּ֥חsha.LachH7971,so that they may worship Meוְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃ve.Ya.'av.Du.niH5647.

21Butכִּ֣יkiH3588ifאִם־'im-H518you will notאֵינְךָ֮'ei.ne.KhaH369let My peopleעַמִּי֒ הִנְנִי֩'a.Mi hi.NiH5971 H2005goמְשַׁלֵּ֣חַme.sha.Le.achH7971אֶת־'et-H853,I will sendמַשְׁלִ֨יחַmash.Li.achH7971swarmsהֶעָרֹ֑בhe.'a.RoH6157of flies upon youand your officialsוּבַעֲבָדֶ֧יךָu.va.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650and your peopleוּֽבְעַמְּךָ֛u.ve.'a.me.KhaH5971and your housesוּבְבָתֶּ֖יךָu.ve.va.Tei.khaH1004אֶת־'et-H853.The housesבָּתֵּ֤יba.TeiH1004of the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4713אֶת־'et-H853and evenוְגַ֥םve.GamH1571the groundהָאֲדָמָ֖הha.'a.da.MahH127אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834where theyהֵ֥םhemH1992standwill be fullוּמָ֨לְא֜וּu.Mal.'UH4390of fliesהֶ֣עָרֹ֔ב עָלֶֽיהָ׃he.'a.Ro 'a.Lei.haH6157 H5921.

23I will makeוְשַׂמְתִּ֣יve.sam.TiH7760a distinctionפְדֻ֔תfe.DutH6304betweenבֵּ֥יןbeinH996My peopleעַמִּ֖י וּבֵ֣ין'a.Mi u.VeinH5971 H996and your peopleעַמֶּ֑ךָ'a.Me.khaH5971.Thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088signהָאֹ֥תha.'OtH226will take placeיִהְיֶ֖הyih.YehH1961tomorrowלְמָחָ֥רle.ma.CharH4279.’”

24And the LORDH3068didוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213soכֵּ֔ןKenH3651.Thickכָּבֵ֔דka.VedH3515swarmsעָרֹ֣בa.RoH6157of fliespouredוַיָּבֹא֙vai.ya.Vo'H935into Pharaoh’sH6547palaceבֵּ֥יתָהBei.tahH1004and into the housesוּבֵ֣יתu.VeitH1004of his officialsעֲבָדָ֑יו'a.va.DavH5650.Throughoutוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714the landאֶ֧רֶץ'E.retzH776was ruinedתִּשָּׁחֵ֥ת הָאָ֖רֶץti.sha.Chet ha.'A.retzH7843 H776byמִפְּנֵ֥יmi.pe.NeiH6440swarmsהֶעָרֹֽב׃he.'a.RoH6157of flies.

25Then PharaohH6547 H413summonedוַיִּקְרָ֣אvai.yik.Ra'H7121MosesH4872and Aaronוּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֑ןu.le.'a.ha.RonH175and saidH559, “Goלְכ֛וּle.KhuH1980,sacrificeH2076to your Godלֵֽאלֹהֵיכֶ֖םle.lo.hei.KhemH430within this landבָּאָֽרֶץ׃ba.'A.retzH776.”

28PharaohH6547answeredוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “Iאָנֹכִ֞י'a.no.KhiH595will let you goH7971H853and sacrificeוּזְבַחְתֶּ֞םu.ze.vach.TemH2076to the LORDלַיהוָ֤הla.Yah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙'e.lo.hei.KhemH430in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֔רba.mid.BarH4057,butרַ֛קrakH7535you must notH3808goלָלֶ֑כֶתla.Le.khetH1980very farH7368.Now prayהַעְתִּ֖ירוּha'.Ti.ruH6279for meבַּעֲדִֽי׃ba.'a.DiH1157.”

31and the LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068didוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213as Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872requestedכִּדְבַ֣רkid.VarH1697.He removedוַיָּ֙סַר֙vai.Ya.sarH5493the swarmsהֶעָרֹ֔בhe.'a.RoH6157of fliesfrom Pharaohמִפַּרְעֹ֖הmi.par.'OhH6547and his officialsמֵעֲבָדָ֣יוme.'a.va.DavH5650and his peopleוּמֵעַמּ֑וֹu.me.'a.MoH5971;notלֹ֥אlo'H3808oneאֶחָֽד׃'e.ChadH259flyremainedנִשְׁאַ֖רnish.'ArH7604.
