31Then Pharaoh summonedוַיִּקְרָא֩vai.yik.Ra'H7121Mosesלְמֹשֶׁ֨הle.mo.ShehH4872and Aaronוּֽלְאַהֲרֹ֜ןu.le.'a.ha.RonH175by nightלַ֗יְלָהLay.lahH3915and saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Get upק֤וּמוּKu.muH6965,leaveצְּאוּ֙ מִתּ֣וֹךְtze.'U mi.TokhH3318 H8432my peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971,bothגַּם־gam-H1571youאַתֶּ֖ם'a.TemH859andגַּם־gam-H1571the Israelitesבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑לbe.Nei Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478!Goוּלְכ֛וּu.le.KhuH1980,worshipעִבְד֥וּ'iv.DuH5647אֶת־'et-H853the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068as you have requestedכְּדַבֶּרְכֶֽם׃ke.da.ber.KhemH1696.

32Takeקְח֛וּke.ChuH3947your flocksצֹאנְכֶ֨םtzon.KhemH6629andגַּם־gam-H1571herdsבְּקַרְכֶ֥םbe.kar.KhemH1241as wellגַּם־gam-H1571,just asכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834you have saidדִּבַּרְתֶּ֖םdi.bar.TemH1696,and departוָלֵ֑כוּva.Le.khuH1980!And blessוּבֵֽרַכְתֶּ֖םu.ve.rakh.TemH1288meאֹתִֽי׃'o.TiH853alsoגַּם־gam-H1571.”

33And in order to send themלְשַׁלְּחָ֣םle.sha.le.ChamH7971out ofמִן־min-H4480the landהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776quicklyלְמַהֵ֖רle.ma.HerH4116,the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֙יִם֙ עַל־mitz.Ra.yim 'al-H4714 H5921urgedוַתֶּחֱזַ֤קva.te.che.ZakH2388the people onהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971. “Forכִּ֥יkiH3588otherwise,”they saidאָמְר֖וּ'a.me.RuH559, “we are allכֻּלָּ֥נוּku.La.nuH3605going to dieמֵתִֽים׃me.TimH4191!”

34So the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971אֶת־'et-H853tookוַיִּשָּׂ֥אvai.yi.Sa'H5375their doughבְּצֵק֖וֹbe.tze.KoH1217beforeטֶ֣רֶםTe.remH2962it was leavenedיֶחְמָ֑ץyech.MatzH2556, carrying itonעַל־'al-H5921their shouldersשִׁכְמָֽם׃shikh.MamH7926in kneading bowlsמִשְׁאֲרֹתָ֛םmish.'a.ro.TamH4863wrappedצְרֻרֹ֥תtze.ru.RotH6887in clothingבְּשִׂמְלֹתָ֖םbe.sim.lo.TamH8071.

35Furthermore, the Israelitesוּבְנֵי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֥לu.ve.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478actedעָשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213on Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872’wordכִּדְבַ֣רkid.VarH1697and askedוַֽיִּשְׁאֲלוּ֙vai.yish.'a.LuH7592the Egyptiansמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714for articlesכְּלֵי־ke.lei-H3627of silverכֶ֛סֶףKhe.sefH3701andוּכְלֵ֥יu.khe.LeiH3627goldזָהָ֖בza.HavH2091,and for clothingוּשְׂמָלֹֽת׃u.se.ma.LotH8071.

36And the LORDוַֽיהוָ֞הva.Yah.wehH3068gaveנָתַ֨ןna.TanH5414אֶת־'et-H853the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971such favorחֵ֥ןchenH2580in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֥יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714that they granted their requestוַיַּשְׁאִל֑וּםvai.yash.'i.LumH7592.In this way they plunderedוַֽיְנַצְּל֖וּvay.na.tze.LuH5337אֶת־'et-H853the Egyptiansמִצְרָֽיִם׃ פmitz.Ra.yimH4714.

37The Israelitesבְנֵֽי־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֛לve.nei- Yis.ra.'ElH1121 H3478journeyedוַיִּסְע֧וּvai.yis.'UH5265from Ramesesמֵרַעְמְסֵ֖סme.ra'.me.SesH7486to Succothסֻכֹּ֑תָהsu.Ko.tahH5523with about 600,000כְּשֵׁשׁ־ מֵא֨וֹת אֶ֧לֶףke.shesh- me.'ot 'E.lefH8337 H3967 H505menהַגְּבָרִ֖יםha.ge.va.RimH1397on footרַגְלִ֛יrag.LiH7273,besidesלְבַ֥דle.VadH905women and childrenמִטָּֽף׃mi.TafH2945.

38And a mixedעֵ֥רֶב'E.revH6154multitudeרַ֖בravH7227alsoוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571went upעָלָ֣ה'a.LahH5927with themאִתָּ֑ם'i.TamH854,along with great droves ofכָּבֵ֥ד מְאֹֽד׃ka.Ved me.'OdH3515 H3966livestockמִקְנֶ֖הmik.NehH4735,both flocksוְצֹ֣אןve.TzonH6629and herdsוּבָקָ֔רu.va.KarH1241.

39Sinceכִּ֣יkiH3588their doughהַבָּצֵ֜קha.ba.TzekH1217had noלֹ֣אlo'H3808leavenחָמֵ֑ץcha.MetzH2556,the people bakedוַיֹּאפ֨וּvai.yo.FuH644אֶת־'et-H853אֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834what they had broughtהוֹצִ֧יאוּho.Tzi.'uH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֛יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714into unleavenedמַצּ֖וֹתma.TzotH4682loavesעֻגֹ֥ת'u.GotH5692.Forכִּֽי־ki-H3588when they had been driven outגֹרְשׁ֣וּgo.re.ShuH1644of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֗יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,they couldיָֽכְלוּ֙ya.khe.LuH3201notוְלֹ֤אve.Lo'H3808delayלְהִתְמַהְמֵ֔הַּle.hit.mah.Me.ahH4102andוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571had notלֹא־lo'-H3808preparedעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213any provisionsצֵדָ֖הtze.DahH6720for themselves.
