John 8:33-40
33They answeredG611 unto him, We areG1510 Abraham’s seedG4690, and have never yet beenG1510 in bondage to any man: howG4459 sayest thou, Ye shall beG1510 made freeG1658? 34JesusG2424 answeredG611 them, Verily, verily, I sayG3004 unto you, Every oneG3588 that committeth sinG266 isG1510 the bondservant of sinG266. 35And the bondservant abideth not in the houseG3614 for ever: the sonG5207 abideth for ever. 36If thereforeG3767 the SonG5207 shall make you freeG1658, ye shall beG1510 freeG1658 indeedG3689. 37I know that ye areG1510 Abraham’s seedG4690; yetG235 ye seekG2212 to killG615 me, because my wordG3056 hath not free course in you. 38I speakG2980 the thingsG3739 which I have seenG3708 with my FatherG3962: and ye alsoG2532 do the thingsG3739 which ye heardG191 from your fatherG3962. 39They answeredG611 and saidG3004 unto him, Our fatherG3962 isG1510 AbrahamG11. JesusG2424 saith unto them, If ye wereG1510 Abraham’s childrenG5043, ye would do the worksG2041 of AbrahamG11. 40But nowG1161 ye seekG2212 to killG615 me, a manG444 that hath told you the truthG225, which I heardG191 from GodG2316: this did not AbrahamG11.
