John 12:9-15
9The common peopleG3793 thereforeG3767 of the JewsG2453 learned that he wasG1510 there: and they cameG2064, not for Jesus’G2424 sakeG1223 onlyG3440, but that they might seeG3708 LazarusG2976 alsoG2532, whom he had raisedG1453 from the deadG3498. 10But the chiefG749 priestsG749 took counsel that they might putG615 LazarusG2976 alsoG2532 to deathG615; 11because that by reason of him manyG4183 of the JewsG2453 wentG5217 awayG5217, and believedG4100 on JesusG2424.
12On the morrow a greatG4183 multitudeG3793 that had comeG2064 to the feastG1859, when they heardG191 that JesusG2424 was comingG2064 to JerusalemG2414, 13tookG2983 the branches of the palmG5404 trees, and wentG1831 forthG1831 to meetG5222 him, and cried out, HosannaG5614: BlessedG2127 is he that cometh in the nameG3686 of the LordG2962, evenG2532 the KingG935 of IsraelG2474. 14And JesusG2424, having foundG2147 a young ass, satG2523 thereon; as it isG1510 writtenG1125, 15FearG5399 not, daughterG2364 of ZionG4622: beholdG2400, thy KingG935 cometh, sittingG2521 on an ass’s coltG4454.
