John 12:36-43
36While ye have the lightG5457, believeG4100 on the lightG5457, that ye may becomeG1096 sonsG5207 of lightG5457.
These thingsG3778 spake JesusG2424, and he departedG565 and hidG2928 himself from them. 37But though he had done so manyG5118 signsG4592 before them, yet they believedG4100 not on him: 38that the wordG3056 of IsaiahG2268 the prophetG4396 might be fulfilled, which he spake,
39For this cause they could not believeG4100, for that IsaiahG2268 saidG3004 againG3825,
41These thingsG3778 saidG3004 IsaiahG2268, because he sawG3708 his gloryG1391; and he spake of him. 42Nevertheless evenG2532 of the rulersG758 manyG4183 believedG4100 on him; but because of the PhariseesG5330 they did not confessG3670 it, lestG3361 they should be put out of the synagogueG656: 43for they lovedG25 the gloryG1391 that is of menG444 moreG3123 than the gloryG1391 that is of GodG2316.
