2 Kings 13:14-20
14Now ElishaH477 was fallen sickH2470 of his sicknessH2483 whereof he diedH4191: and JoashH3101 the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478 cameH3381 downH3381 unto him, and weptH1058 over him, and saidH559, My fatherH1, my fatherH1, the chariotsH7393 of IsraelH3478 and the horsemenH6571 thereof! 15And ElishaH477 saidH559 unto him, TakeH3947 bowH7198 and arrowsH2671; and he tookH3947 unto him bowH7198 and arrowsH2671. 16And he saidH559 to the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, PutH7760 thy handH3027 upon the bowH7198; and he putH7760 his handH3027 upon it. And ElishaH477 laid his handsH3027 upon the king’sH4428 handsH3027. 17And he saidH559, OpenH6605 the windowH2474 eastward; and he openedH6605 it. Then ElishaH477 saidH559, ShootH3384; and he shotH3384. And he saidH559, Jehovah’s arrowH2671 of victoryH8668, even the arrowH2671 of victoryH8668 over Syria; for thou shalt smite the Syrians in AphekH663, till thou have consumed them. 18And he saidH559, TakeH3947 the arrowsH2678; and he tookH3947 them. And he saidH559 unto the kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, Smite upon the groundH776; and he smote thrice, and stayed. 19And the manH376 of GodH430 was wroth with him, and saidH559, Thou shouldest have smitten fiveH2568 or sixH8337 timesH6471: thenH227 hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it; whereas nowH6258 thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
20And ElishaH477 diedH4191, and they buriedH6912 him. Now the bandsH1416 of the Moabites invaded the landH776 at the comingH935 in of the yearH8141.
