5Those that arenearהַקְּרֹב֛וֹתha.ke.ro.VotH7138, and those that arefarוְהָרְחֹק֥וֹתve.ha.re.cho.KotH7350from thee, shallmockיִתְקַלְּסוּ־yit.ka.le.su-H7046thee, who artinfamousטְמֵאַ֣ת הַשֵּׁ֔םte.me.'At ha.ShemH2931 H8034andmuchרַבַּ֖תra.BatH7227troubledהַמְּהוּמָֽה׃ha.me.hu.MahH4103.

6Behold, theprincesנְשִׂיאֵ֣יne.si.'EiH5387ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478, everyoneאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376were in thee to theirpowerלִזְרֹע֖וֹliz.ro.'OH2220toshedשְׁפָךְ־she.fokh-H8210bloodדָּֽם׃DamH1818.

7In thee have they setlightהֵקַ֣לּוּhe.Ka.luH7043byfatherאָ֤ב'avH1andmotherוָאֵם֙va.'EmH517: in themidstבְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְbe.to.KhekhH8432of thee have theydealtעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213byoppressionבַעֹ֖שֶׁקva.'O.shekH6233with thestrangerלַגֵּ֛רla.GerH1616: in thee have theyoppressedה֥וֹנוּHo.nuH3238thefatherlessיָת֥וֹםya.TomH3490and thewidowוְאַלְמָנָ֖הve.'al.ma.NahH490.

8Thou hastdespisedבָּזִ֑יתba.ZitH959my holythingsקָדָשַׁ֖יka.da.ShaiH6944, and hastprofanedחִלָּֽלְתְּ׃chi.La.letH2490mysabbathsשַׁבְּתֹתַ֖יsha.be.to.TaiH7676.

9In thee aremenאַנְשֵׁ֥י'an.SheiH582that carrytalesרָכִ֛ילra.KhilH7400toshedשְׁפָךְ־she.fokh-H8210bloodדָּ֑םDamH1818: and in thee theyeatאָ֣כְלוּ'A.khe.luH398upon themountainsהֶֽהָרִים֙he.ha.RimH2022: in themidstבְתוֹכֵֽךְ׃ve.to.KhekhH8432of thee theycommitעָשׂ֥וּ'a.SuH6213lewdnessזִמָּ֖הzi.MahH2154.

10In thee have theyuncoveredגִּלָּה־gi.lah-H1540theirfathersאָ֖ב'avH1’nakednessעֶרְוַת־'er.vat-H6172: in thee have theyhumbledעִנּוּ־'i.nu-H6031her that was setapartהַנִּדָּ֖הha.ni.DahH5079forpollutionטְמֵאַ֥תte.me.'AtH2931.

11Andoneוְאִ֣ישׁ׀ve.'IshH376hathcommittedעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213abominationתּֽוֹעֵבָ֔הto.'e.VahH8441with hisneighbour’sרֵעֵ֗הוּre.'E.huH7453wifeאֵ֣שֶׁת'E.shetH802; andanotherוְאִ֥ישׁve.'IshH376hathlewdlyבְזִמָּ֑הve.zi.MahH2154defiledטִמֵּ֣אti.Me'H2930his daughter inlawכַּלָּת֖וֹka.la.ToH3618; andanotherוְאִ֛ישׁve.'IshH376in thee hathhumbledעִנָּה־'i.nah-H6031hissisterאֲחֹת֥וֹ'a.cho.ToH269, hisfather’sאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1daughterבַת־vat-H1323.

13Behold, therefore I havesmittenהִכֵּ֣יתִיhi.Kei.tiH5221myhandכַפִּ֔יkha.PiH3709at thy dishonestgainבִּצְעֵ֖ךְbitz.'EkhH1215which thou hastmadeעָשִׂ֑ית'a.SitH6213, and at thybloodדָּמֵ֔ךְda.MekhH1818which hath been in themidstבְּתוֹכֵֽךְ׃be.to.KhekhH8432of thee.

14Can thyheartלִבֵּךְ֙li.beKhH3820endureהֲיַעֲמֹ֤דha.ya.'a.ModH5975, or can thyhandsיָדַ֔יִךְya.Da.yikhH3027bestrongתֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָהte.che.Zak.nahH2388, in thedaysלַיָּמִ֕יםlai.ya.MimH3117that I shalldealעֹשֶׂ֣ה'o.SehH6213with thee? I theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068havespokenדִּבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696it, and willdoוְעָשִֽׂיתִי׃ve.'a.Si.tiH6213it .

15And I willscatterוַהֲפִיצוֹתִ֤יva.ha.fi.tzo.TiH6327thee among theheathenבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471, anddisperseוְזֵרִיתִ֖יךְve.ze.ri.TikhH2219thee in thecountriesבָּאֲרָצ֑וֹתba.'a.ra.TzotH776, and willconsumeוַהֲתִמֹּתִ֥יva.ha.ti.mo.TiH8552thyfilthinessטֻמְאָתֵ֖ךְtum.'a.TekhH2932out of thee.

16And thou shalt take thyinheritanceוְנִחַ֥לְתְּve.ni.ChaltH2490 H5157in thyself in thesightלְעֵינֵ֣יle.'ei.NeiH5869of theheathenגוֹיִ֑םgo.YimH1471, and thou shaltknowוְיָדַ֖עַתְּve.ya.Da.'atH3045that I am theLORDיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.

17And thewordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of theLORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came to me,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

18Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121ofmanאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120, thehouseבֵֽית־veit-H1004ofIsraelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478is to me becomedrossלְסִ֑יגle.sugH5509: all they arebrassנְ֠חֹשֶׁתNe.cho.shetH5178, andtinוּבְדִ֨ילu.ve.DilH913, andironוּבַרְזֶ֤לu.var.ZelH1270, andleadוְעוֹפֶ֙רֶת֙ve.'o.Fe.retH5777, in themidstבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of thefurnaceכּ֔וּרKurH3564; they are even thedrossסִגִ֥יםsi.GimH5509ofsilverכֶּ֖סֶףKe.sefH3701.

19Therefore thussaithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559theLordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136GODיְהוִ֔הYah.wehH3069; Because ye are all becomedrossלְסִגִ֑יםle.si.GimH5509, behold, therefore I willgatherקֹבֵ֣ץko.VetzH6908you into themidstתּ֖וֹךְTokhH8432ofJerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389.

20As theygatherקְבֻ֣צַתke.Vu.tzatH6910silverכֶּ֡סֶףKe.sefH3701, andbrassוּ֠נְחֹשֶׁתU.ne.cho.shetH5178, andironוּבַרְזֶ֨לu.var.ZelH1270, andleadוְעוֹפֶ֤רֶתve.'o.Fe.retH5777, andtinוּבְדִיל֙u.ve.DilH913, into themidstתּ֣וֹךְTokhH8432of thefurnaceכּ֔וּרKurH3564, toblowלָפַֽחַת־la.fa.chat-H5301thefireאֵ֖שׁ'eshH784upon it, tomeltלְהַנְתִּ֑יךְle.han.TikhH5413it ; so will Igatherאֶקְבֹּץ֙'ek.BotzH6908you in myangerבְּאַפִּ֣יbe.'a.PiH639and in myfuryוּבַחֲמָתִ֔יu.va.cha.ma.TiH2534, and I willleaveH3240you there, andmeltוְהִתַּכְתִּ֖יve.hi.takh.TiH5413you.

21Yea, I willgatherוְכִנַּסְתִּ֣יve.khi.nas.TiH3664you, andblowוְנָפַחְתִּ֥יve.na.fach.TiH5301upon you in thefireבְּאֵ֣שׁbe.'EshH784of mywrathעֶבְרָתִ֑י'ev.ra.TiH5678, and ye shall bemeltedוְנִתַּכְתֶּ֖םve.ni.takh.TemH5413in themidstבְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃be.to.KhahH8432of it.

22Assilverכֶּ֙סֶף֙ke.sefH3701ismeltedכְּהִתּ֥וּךְke.hi.TukhH2046in themidstבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of thefurnaceכּ֔וּרKurH3564, so shall ye bemeltedתֻּתְּכ֣וּtu.te.KhuH5413in themidstבְתוֹכָ֑הּve.to.KhahH8432of it; and ye shallknowוִֽידַעְתֶּם֙vi.da'.TemH3045that I theLORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068have pouredoutשָׁפַ֥כְתִּיsha.Fakh.tiH8210myfuryחֲמָתִ֖יcha.ma.TiH2534upon you.
