Psalms 69:8-28
8I have becomeH1961 1estrangedH2114 2from my brothersH251, And a strangerH5237 to my mother’sH517 sonsH1121.9For 3zealH7068 for Your houseH1004 has consumedH398 me, And 4the tauntsH2781 of those who tauntH2778 You have fallenH5307 on me.10When I weptH1058 5in my soulH5315 with fastingH6685, It becameH1961 my 6disgraceH2781.11When I madeH5414 7sackclothH8242 my clothingH3830, I becameH1961 8a proverbH4912 to them.12Those who 9sitH3427 in the gateH8179 talkH7878 about me, And 10songsH5058 ofH5058 mockeryH5058 by those habituallyH7941H8354 drunkH7941H8354 are about me.
13But as for me, my prayerH8605 is to You, LordH3068, 11at an acceptableH7522 timeH6256; GodH430, in the 12greatnessH7230 of Your mercyH2617, AnswerH6030 me with 13Your savingH3468 truthH571.14RescueH5337 me from the 14mudH2916 and do not let me sinkH2883; May I be 15rescuedH5337 from those who hateH8130 me, and from the 16depthsH4615 of waterH4325.15May the 1718floodH7642 of waterH4325 not overflowH7857 me NorH408 the deepH4688 swallowH1104 me upH1104, NorH408 the 19pitH875 closeH332 its mouthH6310 on me.
16AnswerH6030 me, LordH3068, for 20Your mercyH2617 is goodH2896; 21According to the greatnessH7230 of Your compassionH7356, 22turnH6437 to me,17And 23do not hideH5641 Your faceH6440 from Your servantH5650, For I amH6887 24inH6887 distressH6887; answerH6030 me quicklyH4118.18ComeH7126 nearH7126 to my soulH5315 and 25redeemH1350 it; 26RansomH6299 me becauseH4616 of my enemiesH340!19You knowH3045 my 27disgraceH2781, my shameH1322, and my dishonorH3639; AllH3605 my enemiesH6887 are 28knownH5048 to You.
20DisgraceH2781 has 29brokenH7665 my heartH3820, and I am so sickH5136. And 30I waitedH6960 for sympathyH5110, but thereH369 wasH369 noneH369; And for 31comfortersH5162, but I foundH4672 noneH3808.21They also gaveH5414 me 3233a bitterH7219 herbH7219 in my foodH1267, And for my thirstH6772 they 34gaveH8248 me vinegarH2558 toH8248 drinkH8248.
22May 35their tableH7979 beforeH6440 them becomeH1961 a snareH4170; And 3637when they are at peaceH7965, may it become a trapH4170.23May their 38eyesH5869 growH2821 dimH2821 soH4480 thatH4480 they cannotH4480 seeH7200, And make their 39hipsH4975 shakeH4571 continuallyH8548.2440PourH8210 outH8210 Your indignationH2195 on them, And may Your burningH2740 angerH639 overtakeH5381 them.25May their 4142campH2918 beH8074 desolatedH8074; May there be noneH408 livingH3427 in their tentsH168.26For they have 43persecutedH7291 him whomH834 44You YourselfH859 struckH5221, And they tellH5608 of the painH4341 of those whom 45You have 46woundedH2491.27AddH5414 47guiltH5771 to their guiltH5771, And 48may they not comeH935 into 49Your righteousnessH6666.28May they be 50wipedH4229 outH4229 of the 51bookH5612 of lifeH2416, And may they not be 5253recordedH3789 with the righteousH6662.
