Acts 13:32-37

And we 1preachG2097 to you the goodG2097 newsG2097 of 2the promiseG1860 madeG1096 to the fathersG3962,

that GodG2316 has fulfilledG1603 thisG3778 promise to thoseG3588 of us who are the descendantsG5043 by 3raisingG450 JesusG2424, as it is alsoG2532 writtenG1125 in the secondG1208 PsalmG5568: ‘4You are My SonG5207; todayG4594 I have fatheredG1080 You.’

As for the fact that He 5raisedG450 Him from the deadG3498, neverG3371 againG3371 to returnG5290 to decayG1312, He has spokenG3004 inG3779 thisG3779 wayG3779: ‘6I will giveG1325 you the holyG3741 and faithfulG4103 mercies of DavidG1160.’

ThereforeG1360, He alsoG2532 saysG3004 in anotherG2087 Psalm: ‘7You will not 8allowG1325 Your 9HolyG3741 OneG3741 to 10undergoG3708 decayG1312.’

For 11DavidG1160, after he had 12servedG5256 God’sG2316 13purposeG1012 in his ownG2398 generationG1074, 14fellG2837 asleepG2837, and was 15buriedG4369 amongG4314 his fathersG3962 and 16underwentG3708 decayG1312;

but He whomG3739 GodG2316 17raisedG1453 did not 18undergoG3708 decayG1312.
