55So when allכָּל־kol-H3605the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714sufferedH7456famineH7456,the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971criedH6817outH6817to Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֖הpar.'OhH6547for breadלַלָּ֑חֶםla.La.chemH3899;and Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֤הpar.'OhH6547saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605the EgyptiansH4714, “Goלְכ֣וּle.KhuH1980to Josephיוֹסֵ֔ףyo.SefH3130;whateverאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834he saysיֹאמַ֥רyo.MarH559to you, you shall doתַּעֲשֽׂוּ׃ta.'a.SuH6213.”

56When the famineוְהָרָעָ֣בve.ha.ra.'AvH7458was spreadoverעַ֖ל'alH5921the entireכָּל־kol-H3605faceפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,then Josephיוֹסֵ֜ףyo.SefH3130openedוַיִּפְתַּ֨חvai.yif.TachH6605allכָּל־kol-H3605the storehousesאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834and soldH7666grainוַיִּשְׁבֹּ֣רvai.yish.BorH7666to the Egyptiansלְמִצְרַ֔יִםle.mitz.Ra.yimH4714;and the famineהָֽרָעָ֖בha.ra.'AvH7458was severeוַיֶּחֱזַ֥קvai.ye.che.ZakH2388in the landבְּאֶ֥רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.
