2And beholdוְהִנֵּ֣הve.hi.NehH2009,sixשִׁשָּׁ֣הshi.ShahH8337menH376cameH935from the directionמִדֶּרֶךְ־mi.de.rekh-H1870of the upperהָעֶלְי֜וֹןha.'el.YonH5945gateשַׁ֨עַרSha.'arH8179whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀'a.SherH834facesמָפְנֶ֣הma.fe.NehH6437northצָפ֗וֹנָהtza.Fo.nahH6828,eachH376withhis smashingמַפָּצוֹ֙ma.pa.TzoH4660weaponכְּלִ֤יke.LiH3627in his handבְּיָד֔וֹbe.ya.DoH3027;and amongבְּתוֹכָם֙be.to.KhamH8432them wasoneאֶחָ֤ד'e.ChadH259manH376clothedלָבֻ֣שׁla.VushH3847in linenבַּדִּ֔יםba.DimH906with a scribe’sH5613kitוְקֶ֥סֶתve.Ke.setH7083at his waistבְּמָתְנָ֑יוbe.ma.te.NavH4975.And they cameH935inH935and stoodוַיַּ֣עַמְד֔וּvai.Ya.'am.DuH5975besideאֵ֖צֶל'E.tzelH681the bronzeהַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃ha.ne.Cho.shetH5178altarמִזְבַּ֥חmiz.BachH4196.

3Then thegloryוּכְב֣וֹד׀u.khe.VodH3519of the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֗לYis.ra.'ElH3478ascendedנַעֲלָה֙na.'a.LahH5927from the cherubהַכְּרוּב֙ha.ke.RuvH3742on whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834it had beenהָיָ֣הha.YahH1961,to the thresholdמִפְתַּ֣ןmif.TanH4670of thetempleהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004.And He calledוַיִּקְרָ֗אvai.yik.Ra'H7121to the manהָאִישׁ֙ha.'IshH376clothedהַלָּבֻ֣שׁha.la.VushH3847in linenהַבַּדִּ֔יםha.ba.DimH906at whoseאֲשֶׁ֛ר'a.SherH834waistבְּמָתְנָֽיו׃ סbe.ma.te.NavH4975was the scribe’sH5613kitקֶ֥סֶתKe.setH7083.

4And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “Goעֲבֹר֙'a.VorH5674through the midstבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of the cityהָעִ֔ירha.'IrH5892,through the midstבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of Jerusalemיְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑םye.ru.sha.LimH3389,and makeוְהִתְוִ֨יתָve.hit.Vi.taH8427amarkתָּ֜וtavH8420on the foreheadsמִצְח֣וֹתmitz.ChotH4696of the peopleH376whogroanהַנֶּֽאֱנָחִים֙ha.ne.'e.na.ChimH584and sighוְהַנֶּ֣אֱנָקִ֔יםve.ha.Ne.'e.na.KimH602overH5921allכָּל־kol-H3605the abominationsהַתּ֣וֹעֵב֔וֹתha.To.'e.VotH8441which are being committedהַֽנַּעֲשׂ֖וֹתha.na.'a.SotH6213in its midstבְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃be.to.KhahH8432.”

5But to the othersוּלְאֵ֙לֶּה֙u.le.'E.lehH428He saidאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559in mypresenceבְּאָזְנַ֔יbe.'a.ze.NaiH241, “Goעִבְר֥וּ'iv.RuH5674through the cityבָעִ֛ירva.'IrH5892afterאַחֲרָ֖יו'a.cha.RavH310him and strikeוְהַכּ֑וּve.ha.KuH5221;do not let your eyeעֵינְכֶ֖םei.nei.khemH5869haveH2347pityH2347and do not spareתַּחְמֹֽלוּ׃tach.Mo.luH2550.

6Utterlyלְמַשְׁחִ֗יתle.mash.ChitH4889killתַּהַרְג֣וּta.har.GuH2026oldH2205menH2205,youngבָּח֣וּרba.ChurH970menH970, femalevirginsוּבְתוּלָה֩u.ve.tu.LahH1330,littleוְטַ֨ףve.TafH2945childrenH2945,and womenוְנָשִׁ֜יםve.na.ShimH802, but do nottouchתִּגַּ֔שׁוּti.Ga.shuH5066anyכָּל־kol-H3605personאִ֨ישׁ'ishH376on whomאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834is the markהַתָּו֙ha.TavH8420; and you shallstartתָּחֵ֑לּוּta.Che.luH2490from My sanctuaryוּמִמִּקְדָּשִׁ֖יu.mi.mik.da.ShiH4720.”So they startedוַיָּחֵ֙לּוּ֙vai.ya.Che.luH2490with theeldersH2205whoאֲשֶׁ֖ר'a.SherH834werebeforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440thetempleהַבָּֽיִת׃ha.Ba.yitH1004.
