8The Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068will commandיְצַ֨וye.TzavH6680the blessingהַבְּרָכָ֔הha.be.ra.KhahH1293for you in yourbarnsבַּאֲסָמֶ֕יךָba.'a.sa.Mei.khaH618and ineverythingוּבְכֹ֖לu.ve.KholH3605that you putמִשְׁלַ֣חmish.LachH4916your handיָדֶ֑ךָya.De.khaH3027to, and He will blessוּבֵ֣רַכְךָ֔u.Ve.rakh.khaH1288you in the landבָּאָ֕רֶץba.'A.retzH776that the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430is givingנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414you.

9The Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068will establishיְקִֽימְךָ֨ye.ki.me.ChaH6965you as a holyקָד֔וֹשׁka.Do.oshH6918peopleלְעַ֣םle.'AmH5971to Himself, as He sworeנִֽשְׁבַּֽע־nish.ba'-H7650to you, ifכִּ֣יkiH3588you keepתִשְׁמֹ֗רtish.MorH8104the commandmentsמִצְוֹת֙mitz.VotH4687of the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430and walkוְהָלַכְתָּ֖ve.ha.lakh.TaH1980in His waysבִּדְרָכָֽיו׃bid.ra.KhavH1870.

10So allכָּל־kol-H3605the peoplesעַמֵּ֣י'a.MeiH5971of the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776will seeוְרָאוּ֙ve.ra.'UH7200thatyou are calledנִקְרָ֣אnik.Ra'H7121by the nameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and they will beH3372afraidוְיָֽרְא֖וּve.ya.re.'UH3372of you.

11And the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068will giveH3498you moreH3498thanH3498enoughH3498prosperityH2899, in thechildrenבִּפְרִ֧יbif.RiH6529of your wombבִטְנְךָ֛vit.ne.KhaH990, in theoffspringוּבִפְרִ֥יu.vif.RiH6529of your livestockבְהַמְתְּךָ֖ve.ham.te.KhaH929, and in theproduceוּבִפְרִ֣יu.vif.RiH6529of your groundאַדְמָתֶ֑ךָ'ad.ma.Te.khaH127,in the landהָאֲדָמָ֔הha.'a.da.MahH127whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068sworeנִשְׁבַּ֧עnish.Ba'H7650to your fathersלַאֲבֹתֶ֖יךָla.'a.vo.Tei.khaH1to giveלָ֥תֶתLa.tetH5414you.

12The Lordיְהוָ֣ה׀Yah.wehH3068will openיִפְתַּ֣חyif.TachH6605for you His goodהַטּ֜וֹבha.TovH2896storehouseאוֹצָר֨וֹ'o.tza.RoH214,the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֗יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,to giveלָתֵ֤תla.TetH5414rainמְטַֽר־me.tar-H4306to your landאַרְצְךָ֙'ar.tze.KhaH776in its seasonבְּעִתּ֔וֹbe.'i.ToH6256and to blessוּלְבָרֵ֕ךְu.le.va.RekhH1288everyכָּל־kol-H3605workמַעֲשֵׂ֣הma.'a.SehH4639of your handיָדֶ֑ךָya.De.khaH3027; andyou will lendוְהִלְוִ֙יתָ֙ve.hil.Vi.taH3867to manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227nationsגּוֹיִ֣םgo.YimH1471,but you will not borrowתִלְוֶֽה׃til.VehH3867.

Consequences of Disobedience

22The Lordיְ֠הוָהYah.wehH3068will strikeיַכְּכָ֣הya.ke.KhahH5221you with consumptionבַּשַּׁחֶ֨פֶתba.sha.Che.fetH7829,inflammationוּבַקַּדַּ֜חַתu.vak.ka.Da.chatH6920,feverוּבַדַּלֶּ֗קֶתu.vad.da.Le.ketH1816,feverishH2746heatH2746, and withthe swordוּבַחֶ֔רֶבu.va.Che.revH2719,with blightוּבַשִּׁדָּפ֖וֹןu.vash.shi.da.FonH7711,and with mildewוּבַיֵּרָק֑וֹןu.vai.ye.ra.KonH3420,and they will pursueוּרְדָפ֖וּךָu.re.da.Fu.khaH7291you untilעַ֥ד'adH5704you perishאָבְדֶֽךָ׃'a.ve.De.khaH6.

23The heavenשָׁמֶ֛יךָsha.Mei.khaH8064whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is overעַל־'al-H5921your headרֹאשְׁךָ֖ro.she.KhaH7218shall be bronzeנְחֹ֑שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178,and the earthוְהָאָ֥רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834is underתַּחְתֶּ֖יךָtach.Tei.khaH8478you, ironבַּרְזֶֽל׃bar.ZelH1270.

24The Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068will makeיִתֵּ֧ןyi.TenH5414the rainמְטַ֥רme.TarH4306of your landאַרְצְךָ֖'ar.tze.KhaH776powderאָבָ֣ק'a.VakH80and dustוְעָפָ֑רve.'a.FarH6083;from heavenהַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064it shall comeיֵרֵ֣דye.RedH3381downH3381on you untilעַ֖ד'adH5704you are destroyedהִשָּׁמְדָֽךְ׃hi.sha.me.DakhH8045.

25“The Lordיְהוָ֥ה׀Yah.wehH3068will causeיִתֶּנְךָ֨yi.ten.KhaH5414you to be defeatedנִגָּף֮ni.GafH5062byלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440your enemiesH340;you will goתֵּצֵ֣אte.Tze'H3318outH3318oneאֶחָד֙'e.ChadH259wayבְּדֶ֤רֶךְbe.De.rekhH1870againstאֵלָ֔יו'e.LavH413them, but you will fleeתָּנ֣וּסta.NusH5127sevenוּבְשִׁבְעָ֥הu.ve.shiv.'AhH7651waysדְרָכִ֖יםde.ra.KhimH1870from their presenceלְפָנָ֑יוle.fa.NavH6440, and you will be an example ofterrorH2113to allלְכֹ֖לle.KholH3605the kingdomsמַמְלְכ֥וֹתmam.le.KhotH4467of the earthהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.

26Your deadH5038bodiesH5038willserve as foodלְמַאֲכָ֔לle.ma.'a.KhalH3978for allלְכָל־le.kholH3605birdsע֥וֹףofH5775of the skyהַשָּׁמַ֖יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064and for the animalsוּלְבֶהֱמַ֣תu.le.ve.he.MatH929of the earthהָאָ֑רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and thereH369willH369beH369noH369oneH369to frightenמַחֲרִֽיד׃ma.cha.RidH2729them away.

27“The Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068will strikeיַכְּכָ֨הya.ke.KhahH5221you with the boilsבִּשְׁחִ֤יןbish.ChinH7822of Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714and withtumorsH6076,the festeringH1618rashH1618,and with scabiesוּבֶחָ֑רֶסu.ve.Cha.resH2775,from whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you cannotלֹא־ תוּכַ֖לlo'- tu.KhalH3201 H3808be healedלְהֵרָפֵֽא׃le.he.ra.Fe'H7495.

28The Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068will strikeיַכְּכָ֣הya.ke.KhahH5221you with insanityבְּשִׁגָּע֖וֹןbe.shi.ga.'onH7697,blindnessוּבְעִוָּר֑וֹןu.ve.'i.va.RonH5788,and with confusionוּבְתִמְה֖וֹןu.ve.tim.HonH8541ofmindלֵבָֽב׃le.VavH3824;

29and you will begropingH4959aboutH4959at noonבַּֽצָּהֳרַ֗יִםba.tzo.ho.Ra.yimH6672,justH3512asH3512a personהָעִוֵּר֙ha.'i.VerH5787who is blindH5787gropesH4959in the darknessבָּאֲפֵלָ֔הba.'a.fe.LahH653,and you will not beH6743successfulתַצְלִ֖יחַtatz.Li.achH6743in your waysדְּרָכֶ֑יךָde.ra.Khei.khaH1870;but you will onlyאַ֣ךְ'akhH389beoppressedעָשׁ֧וּק'a.ShukH6231and robbedוְגָז֛וּלve.ga.ZulH1497allכָּל־kol-H3605the timeהַיָּמִ֖יםhai.ya.MimH3117,with noH369oneH369to saveמוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃mo.Shi.a'H3467you.

30You willbetrothתְאָרֵ֗שׂte.'a.ResH781a womanאִשָּׁ֣ה'i.ShahH802,but anotherאַחֵר֙'a.CherH312manוְאִ֤ישׁve.'IshH376willviolateH7693her;you will buildתִּבְנֶ֖הtiv.NehH1129a houseבַּ֥יִתBa.yitH1004,but you will not liveתֵשֵׁ֣בte.ShevH3427in it; you will plantתִּטַּ֖עti.Ta'H5193a vineyardכֶּ֥רֶםKe.remH3754,but you will not makeH2490useתְחַלְּלֶּֽנּוּ׃te.chal.le.Le.nuH2490ofH2490its fruit.

31Your oxשׁוֹרְךָ֞shor.KhaH7794will beslaughteredטָב֣וּחַta.Vu.achH2873before your eyesלְעֵינֶ֗יךָle.'ei.Nei.khaH5869,but you will not eatתֹאכַל֮to.KhalH398of it; your donkeyחֲמֹֽרְךָ֙cha.mo.re.KhaH2543will besnatchedH1497awayH1497from you, and will notbe restoredיָשׁ֖וּבya.ShuvH7725to you; yoursheepצֹֽאנְךָ֙tzo.ne.KhaH6629will begivenנְתֻנ֣וֹתne.tu.NotH5414to your enemiesH340,and you will haveH369noH369oneH369to saveמוֹשִֽׁיעַ׃mo.Shi.a'H3467you.

35The Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068will strikeיַכְּכָ֨הya.ke.KhahH5221you on the kneesהַבִּרְכַּ֙יִם֙ha.bir.Ka.yimH1290and thighsהַשֹּׁקַ֔יִםha.sho.Ka.yimH7785with severeרָ֗עRa'H7451boilsבִּשְׁחִ֣יןbish.ChinH7822from whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you cannotלֹא־ תוּכַ֖לlo'- tu.KhalH3201 H3808be healedלְהֵרָפֵ֑אle.he.ra.Fe'H7495, and strike youfrom the soleמִכַּ֥ףmi.KafH3709of your footרַגְלְךָ֖rag.le.KhaH7272to the topH6936ofH6936your headH6936.
