4and whatוַאֲשֶׁ֣רva.'a.SherH834He didעָשָׂה֩'a.SahH6213to Egypt’sמִצְרַ֜יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714armyלְחֵ֨ילle.CheilH2428,to its horsesלְסוּסָ֣יוle.su.SavH5483and its chariotsוּלְרִכְבּ֗וֹu.le.rikh.BoH7393,whenאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834He made the waterמֵ֤יmeiH4325of theRedסוּף֙sufH5488Seaיַם־yam-H3220engulfהֵצִ֜יףhe.TzifH6687them while they were pursuingבְּרָדְפָ֖םbe.ra.de.FamH7291you, and the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068completelyעַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃'ad hai.Yom ha.ZehH5704 H3117 H2088eliminatedוַיְאַבְּדֵ֣םvay.'a.be.DemH6them;

10For the landהָאָ֗רֶץha.'A.retzH776,into whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834you are enteringבָא־va'-H935to possessלְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּle.rish.TahH3423it, is not like the landכְאֶ֤רֶץkhe.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֙יִם֙mitz.Ra.yimH4714from whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834you cameיְצָאתֶ֖םye.tza.TemH3318,whereאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834you used to sowתִּזְרַע֙tiz.Ra'H2232your seedזַרְעֲךָ֔zar.'a.KhaH2233and waterוְהִשְׁקִ֥יתָve.hish.Ki.taH8248itby your footבְרַגְלְךָ֖ve.rag.le.KhaH7272like a vegetableהַיָּרָֽק׃hai.ya.RakH3419gardenכְּגַ֥ןke.GanH1588.

11Butthe landוְהָאָ֗רֶץve.ha.'A.retzH776into whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834you are about to crossעֹבְרִ֥ים'oe.RimH5674to possessלְרִשְׁתָּ֔הּle.rish.TahH3423it, a landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of hillsהָרִ֖יםha.RimH2022and valleysוּבְקָעֹ֑תu.ve.ka.'OtH1237,drinksתִּשְׁתֶּה־tish.teh-H8354waterמָּֽיִם׃Ma.yimH4325from the rainלִמְטַ֥רlim.TarH4306of heavenהַשָּׁמַ֖יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,

12a landאֶ֕רֶץ'E.retzH776for whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430caresדֹּרֵ֣שׁdo.ReshH1875;the eyesעֵינֵ֨י'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430are continuallyתָּמִ֗ידta.MidH8548on it, from thebeginningמֵֽרֵשִׁית֙me.re.ShitH7225even to the endאַחֲרִ֥ית'a.cha.RitH319of the yearH8141.

13“And it shall comeH1961aboutH1961,ifאִם־'im-H518you listenשָׁמֹ֤עַsha.Mo.a'H8085obedientlyתִּשְׁמְעוּ֙tish.me.'UH8085to my commandmentsמִצְוֹתַ֔יmitz.vo.TaiH4687whichאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834I am commandingמְצַוֶּ֥הme.tza.VehH6680you todayהַיּ֑וֹםhai.YomH3117,to loveלְאַהֲבָ֞הle.'a.ha.VahH157the Lordיְהוָ֤הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙'e.lo.hei.KhemH430and to serveוּלְעָבְד֔וֹu.le.'a.ve.DoH5647Himwith allבְּכָל־be.kholH3605your heartלְבַבְכֶ֖םle.vav.KhemH3824and allוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605your soulנַפְשְׁכֶֽם׃naf.she.KhemH5315,

14thatHe will provideוְנָתַתִּ֧יve.na.ta.TiH5414rainמְטַֽר־me.tar-H4306for your landאַרְצְכֶ֛ם'ar.tze.KhemH776in its seasonבְּעִתּ֖וֹbe.'i.ToH6256, theearlyH3138andlateH4456rainיוֹרֶ֣ה וּמַלְק֑וֹשׁyo.Reh u.mal.Ko.oshH3138 H4456,so that you may gatherוְאָסַפְתָּ֣ve.'a.saf.TaH622your grainדְגָנֶ֔ךָde.ga.Ne.khaH1715,your newוְתִֽירֹשְׁךָ֖ve.ti.ro.she.KhaH8492wineH8492,and your oilוְיִצְהָרֶֽךָ׃ve.yitz.ha.Re.khaH3323.

15He will also provideוְנָתַתִּ֛יve.na.ta.TiH5414grassעֵ֥שֶׂב'E.sevH6212in your fieldבְּשָׂדְךָ֖be.sa.de.KhaH7704for your cattleלִבְהֶמְתֶּ֑ךָliv.hem.Te.khaH929, andyou will eatוְאָכַלְתָּ֖ve.'a.khal.TaH398and beH7646satisfiedH7646.

16Bewareהִשָּֽׁמְר֣וּhi.sha.me.RuH8104that your heartsלְבַבְכֶ֑םle.vav.KhemH3824are not easilyH6601deceivedH6601,and that you do not turnוְסַרְתֶּ֗םve.sar.TemH5493awayH5493and serveוַעֲבַדְתֶּם֙va.'a.vad.TemH5647otherאֲחֵרִ֔ים'a.che.RimH312godsאֱלֹהִ֣ים'E.lo.HimH430,and worshipH2331them.

17Otherwise,the angerאַף־'af-H639of the Lordיְהוָ֜הYah.wehH3068will be kindledוְחָרָ֨הve.cha.RahH2734against you, and He willshutוְעָצַ֤רve.'a.TzarH6113upH6113the skyהַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ha.sha.Ma.yimH8064so that there will be noH3808rainמָטָ֔רma.TarH4306,and the groundוְהָ֣אֲדָמָ֔הve.Ha.'a.da.MahH127will not yieldתִתֵּ֖ןti.TenH5414its produceיְבוּלָ֑הּye.vu.LahH2981; thenyou will quicklyמְהֵרָ֗הme.he.RahH4120perishוַאֲבַדְתֶּ֣םva.'a.vad.TemH6from the goodהַטֹּבָ֔הha.to.VahH2896landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068is givingנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414you.

18“You shall therefore takeוְשַׂמְתֶּם֙ve.sam.TemH7760theseאֵ֔לֶּה'E.lehH428wordsדְּבָרַ֣יde.va.RaiH1697of mine toheartלְבַבְכֶ֖םle.vav.KhemH3824and to soulנַפְשְׁכֶ֑םnaf.she.KhemH5315;and you shall tieוּקְשַׁרְתֶּ֨םu.ke.shar.TemH7194them as a signלְאוֹת֙le.'OtH226on yourhandיֶדְכֶ֔םyed.KhemH3027, and they shall be asfrontletsלְטוֹטָפֹ֖תle.to.ta.FotH2903on your foreheadבֵּ֥ין עֵינֵיכֶֽם׃bein 'ei.nei.KhemH996 H5869.

19You shall also teachוְלִמַּדְתֶּ֥םve.li.mad.TemH3925them to your sonsבְּנֵיכֶ֖םbe.nei.KhemH1121,speakingלְדַבֵּ֣רle.da.BerH1696of them when you sitבְּשִׁבְתְּךָ֤be.shiv.te.KhaH3427in your houseבְּבֵיתֶ֙ךָ֙be.vei.Te.khaH1004,when you walkוּבְלֶכְתְּךָ֣u.ve.lekh.te.KhaH1980along the roadבַדֶּ֔רֶךְva.De.rekhH1870,when you lieH7901downH7901,and when you getH6965upH6965.

20And you shall writeוּכְתַבְתָּ֛םu.khe.tav.TamH3789them on the doorpostsמְזוּז֥וֹתme.zu.ZotH4201of your houseבֵּיתֶ֖ךָbei.Te.khaH1004and on your gatesוּבִשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃u.vish.'a.Rei.khaH8179,

25Noלֹא־lo'-H3808oneאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376will be able tostandיִתְיַצֵּ֥בyit.ya.TzevH3320againstH6440you; the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֗ם'e.lo.hei.KhemH430willinstillיִתֵּ֣ן׀yi.TenH5414the dreadפַּחְדְּכֶ֨םpach.de.KhemH6343of you and the fearוּמֽוֹרַאֲכֶ֜םu.mo.ra.'a.KhemH4172of you in allכָל־khol-H3605the landהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ha.'A.retzH776on whichH834you setH1869footH1869,justH3512asH3512He has spokenדִּבֶּ֥רdi.BerH1696to you.
