1“Then it shall be, whenכִּֽי־ki-H3588you enterתָב֣וֹאta.Vo'H935the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁר֙'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430is givingנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414you as an inheritanceנַחֲלָ֑הna.cha.LahH5159,and you takeוִֽירִשְׁתָּ֖הּvi.rish.TahH3423possessionH3423of it and liveוְיָשַׁ֥בְתָּve.ya.Shav.taH3427in it,

2that you shall takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֞ve.la.kach.TaH3947someH4480ofthe firstמֵרֵאשִׁ֣ית׀me.re.ShitH7225of allכָּל־kol-H3605the produceפְּרִ֣יpe.RiH6529of the groundהָאֲדָמָ֗הha.'a.da.MahH127whichH834you bringתָּבִ֧יאta.Vi'H935inH935from your landמֵֽאַרְצְךָ֛me.'ar.tze.KhaH776that the Lordיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430givesנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414you, and you shall putוְשַׂמְתָּ֣ve.sam.TaH7760itin a basketבַטֶּ֑נֶאva.Te.ne'H2935andgoוְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ve.ha.lakh.TaH1980to the placeהַמָּק֔וֹםha.ma.KomH4725whereשָֽׁם׃ShamH834 H8033the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430choosesיִבְחַר֙yiv.CharH977to establishלְשַׁכֵּ֥ןle.sha.KenH7931His nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034.

3And you shall goוּבָאתָ֙u.va.TaH935to the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834is in officeat that timeבַּיָּמִ֣יםbai.ya.MimH3117and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to him, ‘I declareהִגַּ֤דְתִּיhi.Gad.tiH5046todayהַיּוֹם֙hai.yOmH3117to the Lordלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068my Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430that I have enteredבָ֙אתִי֙va.tiH935the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776whichאֲשֶׁ֨ר'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068sworeנִשְׁבַּ֧עnish.Ba'H7650to our fathersלַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּla.'a.vo.Tei.nuH1to giveלָ֥תֶתLa.tetH5414us.’

4Then the priestהַכֹּהֵ֛ןha.ko.HenH3548shall takeוְלָקַ֧חve.la.KachH3947the basketהַטֶּ֖נֶאha.Te.ne'H2935from your handמִיָּדֶ֑ךָmi.ya.De.khaH3027and setוְהִ֨נִּיח֔וֹve.Hi.ni.ChoH5117it beforeלִפְנֵ֕יlif.NeiH6440the altarמִזְבַּ֖חmiz.BachH4196of the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.

5And you shall respondוְעָנִ֨יתָve.'a.Ni.taH6030and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֜ve.'a.mar.TaH559beforeלִפְנֵ֣י׀lif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430, ‘My fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1was awanderingאֹבֵ֣ד'o.VedH6Arameanאֲרַמִּי֙'a.ra.MiH761,and he wentH3381downוַיֵּ֣רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381to Egyptמִצְרַ֔יְמָהmitz.Ray.mahH4714andresidedוַיָּ֥גָרvai.Ya.gorH1481thereשָׁ֖םshamH8033,fewמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592in numberבִּמְתֵ֣יbim.TeiH4962;but thereשָׁ֕םshamH8033he becameוַֽיְהִי־vay.hi-H1961agreatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419,mightyעָצ֥וּם'a.TzumH6099,and populousוָרָֽב׃va.RavH7227nationלְג֥וֹיle.GoyH1471.

6And theEgyptiansהַמִּצְרִ֖יםha.mitz.RimH4713treatedH7489us badlyH7489and oppressedוַיְעַנּ֑וּנוּvay.'a.Nu.nuH6031us, and imposedוַיִּתְּנ֥וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414hardקָשָֽׁה׃ka.ShahH7186laborעֲבֹדָ֥ה'a.vo.DahH5656on us.

7Thenwe criedH6817outH6817to the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1,and the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֤עvai.yish.Ma'H8085our voiceקֹלֵ֔נוּko.Le.nuH6963and sawוַיַּ֧רְאvai.Yar'H7200our wretchedH6040conditionH6040,our troubleעֲמָלֵ֖נוּ'a.ma.Le.nuH5999,and our oppressionלַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃la.cha.Tze.nuH3906;

8and the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068broughtH3318us outH3318of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714with a mightyחֲזָקָה֙cha.za.KahH2389handבְּיָ֤דbe.YadH3027,an outstretchedנְטוּיָ֔הne.tu.YahH5186armוּבִזְרֹ֣עַu.viz.Ro.a'H2220,and with greatגָּדֹ֑לga.DolH1419terrorוּבְמֹרָ֖אu.ve.mo.Ra'H4172,and with signsוּבְאֹת֖וֹתu.ve.'o.TotH226and wondersוּבְמֹפְתִֽים׃u.ve.mo.fe.TimH4159;

9and He has broughtוַיְבִאֵ֖נוּvay.vi.'E.nuH935us to thisH2088placeהַמָּק֣וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and has givenוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414us thisH2088landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776,a landאֶ֛רֶץ'E.retzH776flowingזָבַ֥תza.VatH2100with milkחָלָ֖בcha.LavH2461and honeyוּדְבָֽשׁ׃u.de.VashH1706.

10And nowוְעַתָּ֗הve.'a.TahH6258beholdהִנֵּ֤הhi.NehH2009,I have broughtהֵבֵ֙אתִי֙he.Ve.tiH935the firstרֵאשִׁית֙re.ShitH7225of the produceפְּרִ֣יpe.RiH6529of the groundהָאֲדָמָ֔הha.'a.da.MahH127whichאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834You, Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068have givenנָתַ֥תָּהna.Ta.tahH5414me.’ Then you shall setוְהִנַּחְתּ֗וֹve.hi.nach.ToH5117it beforeלִפְנֵי֙lif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,and worshipH2331beforeלִפְנֵ֖יlif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃'e.lo.Hei.khaH430;

11and you,the Leviteוְהַלֵּוִ֔יve.ha.le.ViH3881,and the strangerוְהַגֵּ֖רve.ha.GerH1616whoאֲשֶׁ֧ר'a.SherH834is amongבְּקִרְבֶּֽךָ׃ סbe.kir.Be.chaH7130you shallrejoiceוְשָׂמַחְתָּ֣ve.sa.mach.TaH8055in allבְכָל־ve.khol-H3605the goodהַטּ֗וֹבha.TovH2896whichאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430has givenנָֽתַן־na.tan-H5414you and your householdוּלְבֵיתֶ֑ךָu.le.vei.Te.khaH1004.

12“Whenכִּ֣יkiH3588you have finishedתְכַלֶּ֞הte.kha.LehH3615payingלַ֠עְשֵׂרLa'.serH6237allכָּל־kol-H3605the titheמַעְשַׂ֧רma'.SarH4643of your produceתְּבוּאָתְךָ֛te.vu.'a.te.KhaH8393in the thirdהַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖תha.she.li.ShitH7992yearבַּשָּׁנָ֥הba.sha.NahH8141,the yearשְׁנַ֣תshe.NatH8141of the titheהַֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֑רha.ma.'a.SerH4643,then you shall giveוְנָתַתָּ֣הve.na.ta.TahH5414it to the Leviteלַלֵּוִ֗יla.le.ViH3881,to the strangerלַגֵּר֙la.GerH1616, to theorphanלַיָּת֣וֹםlai.ya.TomH3490,and to the widowוְלָֽאַלְמָנָ֔הve.la.'al.ma.NahH490,so that they may eatוְאָכְל֥וּve.'a.khe.LuH398in yourtownsבִשְׁעָרֶ֖יךָvish.'a.Rei.khaH8179and beH7646satisfiedH7646.

13And you shall sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֡ve.'a.mar.TaH559beforeלִפְנֵי֩lif.NeiH6440the Lordיְהוָ֨הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430, ‘I have removedבִּעַ֧רְתִּיbi.'Ar.tiH1197the sacredהַקֹּ֣דֶשׁha.Ko.deshH6944portion from myhouseהַבַּ֗יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,and have alsoוְגַ֨םve.GamH1571givenנְתַתִּ֤יוne.ta.TivH5414it to the Leviteלַלֵּוִי֙la.le.ViH3881,the strangerוְלַגֵּר֙ve.la.GerH1616, theorphanלַיָּת֣וֹםlai.ya.TomH3490,and the widowוְלָאַלְמָנָ֔הve.la.'al.ma.NahH490,in accordance with allכְּכָל־ke.khol-H3605Your commandmentsמִצְוָתְךָ֖mitz.va.te.KhaH4687whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834You have commandedצִוִּיתָ֑נִיtzi.vi.Ta.niH6680me;I have not violatedעָבַ֥רְתִּי'a.Var.tiH5674or forgottenשָׁכָֽחְתִּי׃sha.Kha.che.tiH7911anyמִן־min-H4480of Your commandmentsמִמִּצְוֹתֶ֖יךָmi.mitz.vo.Tei.khaH4687.
