2That thou shalt takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֞ve.la.kach.TaH3947of the firstמֵרֵאשִׁ֣ית׀me.re.ShitH7225of all the fruitפְּרִ֣יpe.RiH6529of the earthהָאֲדָמָ֗הha.'a.da.MahH127,which thou shalt bringתָּבִ֧יאta.Vi'H935of thy landמֵֽאַרְצְךָ֛me.'ar.tze.KhaH776that Yhwhיְהוָ֧הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430givethנֹתֵ֥ןno.TenH5414thee, and shalt putוְשַׂמְתָּ֣ve.sam.TaH7760itin a basketבַטֶּ֑נֶאva.Te.ne'H2935,and shalt goוְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ve.ha.lakh.TaH1980unto the placeהַמָּק֔וֹםha.ma.KomH4725which Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430shall chooseיִבְחַר֙yiv.CharH977to placeלְשַׁכֵּ֥ןle.sha.KenH7931his nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034there.

3And thou shalt goוּבָאתָ֙u.va.TaH935unto the priestהַכֹּהֵ֔ןha.ko.HenH3548that shall be in those daysבַּיָּמִ֣יםbai.ya.MimH3117,and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559unto him, I professהִגַּ֤דְתִּיhi.Gad.tiH5046this dayהַיּוֹם֙hai.yOmH3117unto Yhwhלַיהוָ֣הla.Yah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,that I am comeבָ֙אתִי֙va.tiH935unto the countryהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776which Yhwhיְהוָ֛הYah.wehH3068swareנִשְׁבַּ֧עnish.Ba'H7650unto our fathersלַאֲבֹתֵ֖ינוּla.'a.vo.Tei.nuH1for to giveלָ֥תֶתLa.tetH5414us.

4And the priestהַכֹּהֵ֛ןha.ko.HenH3548shall takeוְלָקַ֧חve.la.KachH3947the basketהַטֶּ֖נֶאha.Te.ne'H2935out of thine handמִיָּדֶ֑ךָmi.ya.De.khaH3027,and set it downH3240beforeלִפְנֵ֕יlif.NeiH6440the altarמִזְבַּ֖חmiz.BachH4196of Yhwhיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃'e.lo.Hei.khaH430.

5And thou shalt speakוְעָנִ֨יתָve.'a.Ni.taH6030and sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֜ve.'a.mar.TaH559beforeלִפְנֵ֣י׀lif.NeiH6440Yhwhיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068thy Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,A Syrianאֲרַמִּי֙'a.ra.MiH761ready to perishאֹבֵ֣ד'o.VedH6wasmy fatherאָבִ֔י'a.ViH1,and he went downוַיֵּ֣רֶדvai.Ye.redH3381into Egyptמִצְרַ֔יְמָהmitz.Ray.mahH4714,and sojournedוַיָּ֥גָרvai.Ya.gorH1481there withבִּמְתֵ֣יbim.TeiH4962a fewמְעָ֑טme.'AtH4592,and became there a nationלְג֥וֹיle.GoyH1471,greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419,mightyעָצ֥וּם'a.TzumH6099,and populousוָרָֽב׃va.RavH7227:

6And the Egyptiansהַמִּצְרִ֖יםha.mitz.RimH4713evil entreatedוַיָּרֵ֧עוּvai.ya.Re.'uH7489us, and afflictedוַיְעַנּ֑וּנוּvay.'a.Nu.nuH6031us, and laidוַיִּתְּנ֥וּvai.yi.te.NuH5414upon us hardקָשָֽׁה׃ka.ShahH7186bondageעֲבֹדָ֥ה'a.vo.DahH5656:

7And when we criedוַנִּצְעַ֕קva.nitz.'AkH6817unto Yhwhיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of our fathersאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ'a.vo.Tei.nuH1,Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֤עvai.yish.Ma'H8085our voiceקֹלֵ֔נוּko.Le.nuH6963,and lookedוַיַּ֧רְאvai.Yar'H7200on our afflictionעָנְיֵ֛נוּ'a.ne.Ye.nuH6040,and our labourעֲמָלֵ֖נוּ'a.ma.Le.nuH5999,and our oppressionלַחֲצֵֽנוּ׃la.cha.Tze.nuH3906:

8And Yhwhיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068brought us forthוַיּוֹצִאֵ֤נוּvai.yo.tzi.'E.nuH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714with a mightyחֲזָקָה֙cha.za.KahH2389handבְּיָ֤דbe.YadH3027,and with an outstretchedנְטוּיָ֔הne.tu.YahH5186armוּבִזְרֹ֣עַu.viz.Ro.a'H2220,and with greatגָּדֹ֑לga.DolH1419terriblenessוּבְמֹרָ֖אu.ve.mo.Ra'H4172,and with signsוּבְאֹת֖וֹתu.ve.'o.TotH226,and with wondersוּבְמֹפְתִֽים׃u.ve.mo.fe.TimH4159:

9And he hath broughtוַיְבִאֵ֖נוּvay.vi.'E.nuH935us into this placeהַמָּק֣וֹםha.ma.KomH4725,and hath givenוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414us this landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776, evena landאֶ֛רֶץ'E.retzH776that flowethזָבַ֥תza.VatH2100with milkחָלָ֖בcha.LavH2461and honeyוּדְבָֽשׁ׃u.de.VashH1706.
