Galatians 2:1-9
1ThenG1899 afterG1223 an interval of fourteenG1180 yearsG2094 I 1wentG305 up againG3825 to JerusalemG2414 with 2BarnabasG921, takingG4838 3TitusG5103 alongG4838 alsoG2532.
24It was becauseG2596 of a 5revelationG602 that I wentG305 up; and I submittedG394 to them the 6gospelG2098 whichG3739 I preachG2784 amongG1722 the GentilesG1484, but I did so in privateG2596G2398 to thoseG3588 who were of reputationG1380, for fearG3381 that I might be 7runningG5143, orG2228 had runG5143, in vainG2756.
3But not evenG3761 8TitusG5103, whoG3588 was with me, though he was a GreekG1672, was 9compelledG315 to be circumcisedG4059.
4But it was becauseG1223 of the 10falseG5569 brethrenG5569 secretlyG3920 broughtG3920 in, who 11had sneakedG3920 in to spyG2684 out our 12libertyG1657 whichG3739 we haveG2192 in ChristG5547 JesusG2424, in orderG2443 to 13bringG2615 us into bondageG2615.
5But we did not yieldG1502 in subjectionG5292 to them for evenG3761 an hourG5610, soG2443 that 14the truthG225 of the gospelG2098 would remainG1265 with you.
6But from thoseG3588 who 15were of highG5100 16reputationG1380 (whatG3697 they were makesG1308 noG3762 differenceG1308 to me; 17GodG2316 18showsG2983 noG3756 partialityG4383)--wellG1063, thoseG3588 who were of reputationG1380 contributedG4323 nothingG3762 to me.
7But on the contraryG5121, seeingG3708 that I had been 19entrustedG4100 with the 20gospelG2098 21to the uncircumcisedG203, justG2531 as 22PeterG4074 had been 23to the circumcisedG4061
8(for He who effectuallyG1754 workedG1754 for PeterG4074 in his 24apostleshipG651 25to the circumcisedG4061 effectuallyG1754 workedG1754 for me alsoG2532 to the GentilesG1484),
9and recognizingG1097 26the graceG5485 that had been givenG1325 to me, 2728JamesG2385 and 29CephasG2786 and JohnG2491, who were 30reputedG1380 to be 31pillarsG4769, gaveG1325 to me and 32BarnabasG921 the 33rightG1188 34handG1188 of fellowshipG2842, soG2443 that we might 35go to the GentilesG1484 and they to the circumcisedG4061.
